Our four luxury bed and breakfast cottages showcase interiors that reflect a blend of rustic charm and modern sophistication, perfectly complimenting the old-world beauty of Tulbagh. Each cottage offers majestic mountain views and features an open-plan ensuite bathroom with a rain shower and large bathtub, refreshment station, smart TV, bar fridge, safe, and complimentary WiFi. Air-conditioning with heating and cooling options, a remote-controlled fan, and a cosy indoor fireplace ensure total comfort in hot summers and cold winters. A battery backup system ensures our cottages and restaurant have electricity during load shedding and unexpected power outages.
Outside, a private patio with a barbeque facility provides a relaxing vantage point from which to enjoy the sun set over the mountains, take in the sounds of the prolific birdlife, or gaze at the canopy of stars. Guest staying in our Couples Cottages can unwind in a new wood-fired hot tub which can be heated or enjoyed as a splash pool.
Duikersdrift also offers a secluded guest pool area with pergolas and pool loungers, an on-site restaurant (closed in October 2024) serving delicious meals, and a children’s playground. An array of activities can be enjoyed on-site or in the surrounding area, including picnics, wine tasting, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and more.

Simply delightful! We were received warmly and efficiently. The cottage at Duikersdrift Winelands Country Escape was beautiful and perfect for a romantic getaway. Lovely attention to detail. Magnificent view and amenities. The pool was a welcome addition given the extreme heat. Supper was served at the cottage and was delectably delicious. Unfortunately, mosquitoes shortened our hot tub opportunity. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious once again, and the service was extremely friendly. The entire establishment was quaint and a veritable treat!

The people of Duikersdrift went "above and beyond" with our stay and engagement. Everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations. The facilities were luxurious and the view was picture perfect.
My wife and I had an amazing time at Duikersdrift Winelands Country Escape. It was a perfect mix of nature and luxury. We also thoroughly enjoyed the onsite cafe, which always impressed us with great food, music, and service.
Fantastic! I wish I could stay longer. The place is breathtaking, one can hardly believe it is so beautiful with the already beautiful mountains around you. I couldn't have come at a better time because the mountain peaks were all covered in snow. This is really the place to go for someone looking for a quiet getaway. The breakfast is delicious, as are all the other foods offered at the restaurant.
Lovely, peaceful place with a nice view and good food.
Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend. However, the shower head was not good.
The gardens and surroundings are not well maintained.
We had the most relaxing stay here. Lindy, the manager, made us feel right at home. The views are breath taking and the food at Obiqua was top notch. We'll be back!

This is an amazing location for couples, singles and family. Shane and Shane took such good care of me. The food was abundant and delicious. The cottage was insane. the views, decor, thoughtful touches and comfort. I also enjoyed the farm and the farm animals. A truly special place. Will definitely be back.

The people were very friendly and we felt welcomed. The pool and surrounding nature were breathtaking and we enjoyed our time there immensely. Breakfast was fantastic at the restaurant. You may.
Als is a few steps away. One can get pretty bad here.
