We loved our weekend at The Beagle's Nest. We can't wait to visit again. Beautiful location with amazing views and perfect for bird watching, and close to the Dullstroom Dam for afternoon walks. Exactly what was needed to get away from a busy work environment. Next time we would like to stay a bit longer.

It was just me, my mom and our little woofie. Although it was bitterly cold, we had a nice stay. Of course the fireplace helped a lot and the warm blankets were a winner. The place is very neat. We will definitely come again!
We had a lovely time at The Beagle’s Nest - it had everything we needed despite the cabin not being very big. There are some things that need a bit of TLC - the electric frying pan didn't work, and we had really hoped to use it. The shower drain was quite blocked, the gate lock struggled to unlock, and the garden is quite overgrown. However, those were minor things in comparison to the overall atmosphere, which was very nice. We loved that it really catered for dogs with the wide open space, dog bowls, and even the Vetsak!
Definitely a home away from home! We enjoyed relaxing in the cozy and comfortable cottage, and the scenery was breathtaking. The fireplace was just the best! Our 2 fur kids were right at home and loved the secure open space to wander around. The kitchen was equipped with absolutely everything we needed. Our comfortable bed fitted with an electric blanket was such a treat. My husband did, however, have some unexpected work to attend to, so WiFi would have been a great help. Overall, our stay was absolutely relaxing and very comfortable. Just the getaway that we needed to relax and unwind! We will definitely be back for another stay!
My sister and I (2 cheerful, friendly, fat widows) celebrated her birthday wonderfully in the cozy cabin with a fireplace. We didn't even drive out to the Oppi Farm Festival. Just want to recommend that the blind above the kitchen sink be replaced or fixed. I broke a glass on the drying rack in the process of lowering the blind.
Loved the view, all the extras in the house were great.
The house is very comfortable and has everything you need. The yard is nice and big and the dogs really enjoyed the space. However, there is a problem with the entrance gate which leaves a gap when it is closed, for small dogs to get through. There was also no broom or mop to clean yourself. There is no canopy of any kind and the vehicle was parked in the sun.

The general cleanliness, e.g. clean mats and a new washing-up sponge, immediately caught my eye. And then of course the surroundings and view from the veranda! Our dogs enjoyed the space just as much. Many thanks to the owners for their effort to furnish the cottage so tastefully.
It was very cold, there wasn't even a bucket of wood when we got there! Even if we had to pay for it! No one even told us about the wood.

We were there to explore Dullstroom and The Beagle's Nest is perfectly located! It was within walking distance of the town, the view in the morning with a cup of coffee on the dam and the mountains was breathtaking. It's wonderfully quiet and not in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of the town. The natural field around the house was so special, because you could sit on the stoep and just sit and watch the pheasants that come almost to the stoep looking for food. Will definitely stay there again. The cottage has everything one needs to make it a vacation for the books.
Everything needed is available. The little house is big enough for 4. The picture on the porch of the pond and mountain every morning is a piece of Heaven! Our dog child was safe and enjoyed it just as much. We will definitely use the beautiful place again.
Nice fresh air and in the evening you can see all the stars, sometimes even the Milky Way. Everything is within walking distance.

We enjoyed the stoep with the beautiful view, especially baking in the sun on the cold mornings. Our dog also really enjoyed the visit. He went for a nice walk, baked in the sun on the porch and lay by the window looking at all the animals he could see outside. We will definitely visit again.
We absolutely adored our stay at The Beagle's Nest, the place is ideally situated. Close to town but on the outskirts and it feels like you are in the country. The garden is huge and fully fenced, the dogs loved exploring there. The place is near and well furnished and has a bath that is perfect for long soaks after exploring the area. It's an ideal place to reflect and refresh.

A stunning location within walking distance of town and all amenities. We loved the peace and quiet as it was far away from town to be rural but close enough to be accessible. My wife and adult daughter and I stayed for 3 nights in peace and quiet on the edge of town. The residential unit is perfectly located away from the hustle and bustle of the town near an open field area that reminds you of a reserve. There are hiking trails to the nearby dam, as well as climbing the hill next to the dam. Otherwise, you can just relax in front of the TV or by reading a book, or even plan for the year ahead. If it all gets too much, you can relax outside around the barbecue fire - or relax inside around the fireplace in winter.
This was the perfect holiday home for our time in Dullstroom. A little piece of paradise with all the amenities we needed, great views and scenery and a short walk into town. We loved staying here and would easily come back again in a heart beat.
The Pilgrimshuisie is cozy and cozy inside. The wooden deck is ideal for appreciating the natural beauty that is on your doorstep. With the rainy weather and foggy evenings, the fireplace was too lovely. The few days felt like weeks. We even spotted an Osprey. Megan answered any queries. Will stay at Beagle's Nest again. Alet contacted me during the week before our getaway and made sure we knew exactly where to get the key. The Kruger Cottage is clean and very cuddly. Perfect for foggy cold days. The fireplace is a winner! Delicious hot water makes the shower and bath experience top notch. The cottage is well equipped. We can definitely recommend it.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Kruger Cottage over the Easter weekend. I was so impressed with everything that is provided in the cottage. The owner made sure we will never be cold during the beautiful rainy days. Its very neat and could not ask for a better location or a more beautiful view of the grass plains and the lake. Although I read comments about the neighbours being too close, we did not find that a problem at all. We only saw the view and listened to all the birds. I would recommend this place for anyone. The alarm system was very appreciated and felt very safe throughout the nights. The best was that everything is in walking distance.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, cozy house! The chill was warded off by a fire in the fireplace and electric blankets. The basic equipment is sufficient, especially if you go out to eat, it's just not within walking distance of the high street. However, the veld roads around offer plenty of opportunity to walk for humans and dogs! Even though it is located on the edge of the wetland, we did not feel unsafe in any way. Beautiful view from the porch, too bad the neighbor built his house so close.

This was the second time I booked this place and enjoyed it again. Well equipped with everything one would need. Cosy fireplace for the evenings. Beautiful view. If you just want to break away and be close to nature, this place is right for you.
The accommodation is comfortable and very tidy, we had a great fire in the fireplace.
The cottage was very clean and neat including bedding. A serious concern was the narrow stone path over the "moat" (?) for disabled or otherwise challenged people. The shared fireplace between the living area and the bedroom is a great idea if you don't have guests, which we had. Suggest a portable screen for privacy.

This place is so cute and has loads of character. Equipped with anything you may need and very convenient! The only thing that I can mention is the peace of gravel road which isn't that great until you reach the little house, but otherwise everything was perfect.
