We had a nice stay, however there was a double booking for the unit we chose. The owner was very helpful, and gave us a place in another guest house in town for the first night and another unit at Dullstroom on the Dam for the second night.

We had a great stay, thank you. It was so peaceful. However, there was only 1 porridge/pudding bowl in the kitchen cupboard, and a few creases in the fitted sheets. Also some mold spots in the bathroom. Two suggestions are to make sure that there are enough plates and bowls in the kitchen for the maximum number of residents, and to make the drying rack and mirror in the bathroom slightly lower so that short people can use them more easily. Otherwise had a very good time. Thank you very much.
Nice stay, but the unit needs some love and attention inside and out. It was nice to go for a walk and our dog really enjoyed it. The condition of the 1 km road to the main street is rough, you can slow down a bit if it has to be driven a few times.
The view is unbeatable. The interior of the house needs a lot of attention and a thorough cleaning. There is no attention to detail. A lot of maintenance is required.
We really enjoyed the karaoke and their pizzas are nice and thick.

IN WINTER THEY HAVE TO GIVE MORE WOOD PER UNIT.
I would recommend Dullstroom on the Dam for campers not travelers. The cottages are very basic and the price is too high for what it offers. The view over the pond and Lily the pony "saved" the stay. Two of the cottages appeared to be semi-permanent residents who had been visiting all night, it was disturbing.
Loud music played all weekend in the recreation hall as well as at a nearby shebeen/hangout place.
Would like to see better access control to promote visitor safety. There is no access control at the entrance which promotes the feeling of insecurity. Would recommend with reservation. Reception not fluent in Afrikaans.
Power points not on standard. Bathrooms are in a very bad condition. No hot water.
The little houses have so much potential. With just a little more attention to cleanliness, bedding and upkeep on broken furniture, kitchen drawers etc it would be awesome. The area is so pretty and could be so much more.

The cottages are comfortably furnished and have plenty of sleeping space for up to 6 people. Cottages are also fenced so that pets can accompany them. Definitely the perfect getaway to rest. No TV in the cottages. WiFi is available. Extra charge for fishing (trout).

I was very very disappointed, I believe anyone will be if you take your friends on a getaway and the accommodation you booked especially for them has the place's workers (I really hope it was) staying against the back wall of the bedroom, under corrugated iron sheets and wood. Upon arrival, the one was busy hanging her laundry in front of the room's window. How is this acceptable to let any visitor who pays for accommodation stay like this?
When I arrived, there was no one at the gate or reception to show me where I need to go. It was already dark and I had to find a spot without assistance. There were stray dogs running around the property. The owners of the property were playing loud music for hours without considering the guests. The property itself is not well maintained and it's dilapidated. The ablutions were dirty. There are old caravans and cars that look like they belong to the owner and make the property look like a scrap yard. They also keep livestock in the vicinity of the campsite which is not hygienic. I had to cut my stay short and leave the next morning. The owners didn't even see me leave as they don't seem to care who comes in and out of the property. Terrible experience.
We are also campers, had a look at ablution facilities at caravan park, terrible.
