The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and an en suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and washbasin. The other open plan bedroom and living area has a single bed as well as a convertible sleeper couch for 2 more adults. A shared guest bathroom with WC and handbasin is also available.
The kitchen is well-equipped with a fridge-freezer, 2-plate stove and mini-oven, and a microwave. The living area has a TV with full DStv channels. Fibre Wi-Fi is available. The cottage has secure with loff-street parking under floodlights with CCTV cameras. Secure parking is also available for a trailer or caravan. The unit has an alarm.
During load shedding, solar power backup is iavailable for Wi-Fi, TV, DStv, the alarm system, battery charging, and limited use of the micowave.
Dumarl's Cottage is very close to the Tygerberg Nature Reserve, De Grendel Winetasting farm, numerous shopping centres and walking routes with an outdoor gym on open field alongside the cottage. It has quick access to the N1 road to reach all that Cape Town and it's surrounds has to offer.

Firsty I would like to thank Marlene and her husband for a nice and friendly welcome at they place when we arrived at they place. Dumarl's cottage were the best place ever and will definitely come again cause the WiFi works perfectly and everything is very nice at they place. Thank you guys we did enjoy our stay at your place will come again.
We would stay there again anytime and we were made to feel very much at home. the most friendly family people who spoiled us, the place has full DStv package, very good WiFi and much more. I would recommend the cottage to any friends and family. It's the first time that makes us feel like "Home away from home". Thank you for how you treated us. We look forward to staying with you again.
My vehicle broke down on the way and the owner didn't consider it an effort at all to pick me up with my children and also tow my vehicle. He was very friendly didn't count the kilos that had to be driven. Gave us a guide document ourselves. I would refer anyone to go there.
The owner spend some time with my kids teaching them how to swim. on Christmas he even allowed my in-laws to come and have our Christmas lunch there. Him and his wife are very friendly. Even allowed me to use their washing machine. Will not think twice about going again. My kids ask me every time when we going to that friendly people again. He even kept us up to date on places where we can go to.

Dit was baie lekker. Sal weer daar gaan bly. Die eienaar was baie vriendelik en behulpsaam. Ek het ’n wonderlike tyd daar gehad, baie rustig.
The Dumarls gave us freedom. They were helpful. They made our children feel good. The Dumarls were friendly. We would go back anytime.
The hospitality from the time we arrived and left was outstanding, I’ve been a lot of places but never received such impeccable service. The owners truly left a big impact on my kids, the warm welcome with all the trimmings after a long drive was an emotional touch for me. We definitely have a home every time we go on holiday!
