Unsettled people in other units. You get the impression that if you walk in the street, you disturb the people if you walk too fast.
It's a nice place but rather small inside for the price you pay in December. There is a small garden and braai area as well. The walk to the beach is a bit far with 2 bumps. So can be difficult with small children. The cleaning services were very average and floors were not well washed. The WiFi didn't work - I probably should have followed up but didn't. There are 2 nice swimming pools and a climbing frame. Winkeltjie is also okay with basic foods. Also note that the laundry service tumble drys the clothes so do not give items that cannot go in the tumble dryer. It is a very safe complex and children can walk around and cycle.
Close to everything, had a great time.
We were very impressed with the unit. The decor is beautiful. The coffee shop sells the most delicious biscuits. The security is very good.
The Dunes was perfect for our little family getaway. Beautiful beach within walking distance, safe and neat resort. We will definitely be back again.
