Best stay ever. Loved everything.
The place is very well furnished, neat and very modern. The people are very friendly and hospitable. We had the pleasure of seeing some animals. We had a great time as a family and rested well on this beautiful farm.
On our arrival, Obert met us at the electrified gate and told us to follow him to our chalet with our car. Obert is a piece of gold for the Lodge setting. You could press his button for the 4 nights we stayed there if you wanted to know or have anything happen. The owner, Frans, is also a friendly host who will do anything for his guests. The chalet more than met our expectations, 2 spacious modern bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. the outdoor private showers are something different and enjoyable. Large kitchen has everything one needs. Licence, the driver who showed us around, is also a pleasant person and enjoys his job. The large chalet with its own pool and outdoor Jacuzzi was a nice way to spend time in the forest. Every late afternoon, Obert packed wood and lit it for the evening's bay, a nice treat. We can't wait to visit the lodge again next time, maybe this time with more friends with us.
Arrival, roof leaking in three places, master bedroom bath leaking, two bedroom shower overflowing. There was a TV in the unit but it has been removed and the decor has been placed over braker. For the price we paid, I am disappointed. Cleaning service was fantastic.

I highly recommend the Honey Bush unit. It's a very neat unit, it has its own pool and jacuzzi and is quite private. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Very peaceful and safe environment.
In Honeybadger we had our own private Jacuzzi as well as a swimming pool. Each bedroom has a bath, toilet, outdoor shower and aircon. There are 2 braai areas, one in front of the house and one at the back.

Was very nice and value for money.
My husband and I went to Dunroamin for our 20th wedding anniversary and from the moment we got there it was an absolutely wonderful time there. From the beautiful accommodation to the night sounds, it was a precious "memory" for us. Frans and his team know how to make their guests feel welcome. We will definitely go back there, this time without a reason for our visit. Just because it's so nice there!

We had an amazing break. The Honeybadger chalet is so well equipped. The service was exceptional, the privacy, welcome and the facilities were the highlight of the weekend. We will definitely stay again.
What an amazing place in the woods! Obert meets you at the gate and takes you to the most beautiful house where you are welcomed in luxury! It was my birthday, Frans gave us a special bottle of red wine to congratulate us. He came to say goodbye the next morning and told us to tell if something was wrong. Prince was just as awesome with the game drive, we saw everything there is on the farm, was very blessed! We will definitely visit again! Thank you very much for your hospitality and beautiful place!

Dit is die eerste keer dat die plek mooier lyk as die foto's op die site. Dit is 'n baie baie mooi plek, die staff is vriendelik verby. Almal laat jou so op jou gemak voel. From the time we arrived, Obert treated us like royalty .He is the most friendly, polite, intelligent person I have had the privilege of meeting. He worked tirelessly to ensure our weekend was amazing. David who took us on a game drive was amazing and friendly, doing his best to spot the 2 giraffe I so desperately wanted to see.The Jacuzzi was incredible, fire pit an added treat. We will be back.
The peaceful atmosphere, early morning game viewing and then maybe the two chalets closest to the Main Lodge if they can share the pool. Closer to December it will be necessary. Otherwise had a great time.

It's a quiet environment and everything is nice and clean.
What more do you want to know. We were literally watching wildlife under the stars, while in a Jacuzzi. Why have you not booked yet? Do it. The place is more than big enough, all amenities are taken care of.

We had an amazing weekend away from the city. We were welcomed by hosts Frans and Vicky, and felt welcome from the first interaction. The chalet was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated and had all we needed! The view, the quiet atmosphere, the Jacuzzi, the boma area were all exactly what we were looking for. We had a lovely stay, was just too short. Would recommend it if you want to get away from the noise of the city.
Our three nights at Dunroamin were unbeatable. We stayed in Nyala and loved the unit. It is excellently equipped and was very neat and clean. The lovely bath, outdoor shower and splash pool were big favourites. The view over the waterhole rewarded us with beautiful sunsets and herds of Nyalas, Elks and Warthogs came to drink water. Every night we heard the foxes howling and even lions roaring. Dunroamin is remote enough that you can experience the bushland silence and really make you feel like you've escaped the hustle and bustle of the city. The communal lounge area where you have PVR (not that we watched television, but I'll mention it for those who might be interested) as well as an indoor braai was lovely during the one rainy evening. My 21 month old son had a great time running around and playing in this area while his dad and I played 'pool' and put the dart board to the test. Obert's willingness to serve and absolute passion for his work is admirable. He made sure we didn't lift a finger to wash dishes or tidy up and got our splash pool ready every day. The owner, Frans, also came to meet and was very hospitable. It was one of our most enjoyable holidays and I highly recommend Dunroamin Safaris.

My bestfriend and I went on a girls getaway just before December season. We needed a break from the city and we were knocked out of our socks when we arrived. We loved the place and Obed was so helpful and kind. It was a great stay would definitely go again.

Friendly, hospitable, helpful, neat, clean... The staff and owner welcomed us even if we were the only guests on the farm for the weekend. Their service and helpfulness are top notch. The apartment was neat, clean and very well equipped. You couldn't ask for more tranquility in the forest. Very good value for money, would really recommend it if you want to find yourself again and give your mood a "boost".
Our three day stay in Honey Badger was fantastic and private. During our arrival we were greeted by Obit who was our help during our stay. Everything, from bedding, cutlery, furniture, bedrooms with outdoor showers were beautifully clean and tidy. Not to mention your private pool and heated outdoor hot tub. The owner Frans also took us on a game drive after the wonderful rain. We will go again for sure. This time with friends because the joint meeting place, for those who want, is extremely luxurious and well equipped.

We were warmly welcomed by our host on arrival and were settled into our very comfortable and well appointed cottage. After relaxing we enjoyed being taken on a late afternoon game drive by a knowledgeable guide. An evening braai in our own lapa rounded the day off and we fell asleep to the sound of frogs. An early cycle the next morning allowed us to get close to the game and afterwards we relaxed in our own plunge pool. I enjoyed the outside shower while my wife languished in a huge candle lit bath. Overall a very pleasant and relaxing weekend in the bush away from the city lights.
Will recommend this place to anyone wanting to just relax and escape the hustle and bustle. Cell reception was bad, but that only led to the phones being left in the bags and us appreciating the surroundings more.

The house is well equipped. The linen was of high quality, and the beds were very comfortable. It was beautiful and clean, and I will surely stay there again. It was private and tranquil and we enjoyed the Jacuzzi a lot. It was also lovely to walk in the bush despite the drought and the paleness. Only critique is that there should be a TV, as there are very few activities for the children.
Beautiful and very comfortable accommodation with everything in good working order. The open air shower deserves 10/10. The braai master in our family was particularly impressed with the braai area. Two old people of 80 plus thoroughly enjoyed it and we will definitely visit again. The game drive is highly recommended and the baby black roe deer is a real highlight, as are the Zambia 'sables'. Staff very well trained and a pleasure to communicate with. Frans Truter, owner, came to greet us personally which was much appreciated.
It had been a very nice weekend. We really enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi, the Honeybadger is very private and on its own so that was very nice. The unit is very well decorated inside, it's a great atmosphere. We really enjoyed the game drive, we saw enough game. The customer service received was excellent, everything was done and answered with a smile. They might just offer refreshments on the game drive, because you drive a long way and it's hot. The signal is very weak, you walk a few meters and then you can call again and so on, but this is not a problem, because then you can fully get your friends, family and children's attention and they yours. And that's what a break is all about, to break away from technology and to relax and quietly enjoy each other's company. It was really a very nice weekend.
If you like nature and want to switch off after a year, this is the ideal place. On the first drive we saw 12 species of wildlife. The animals were not feral. We stood in one place and could see the zebras, blue wildebeest, red goats and kudus - all within 200 meters. The golden wildebeests on the neighboring farm are something to see and Sakkie showed us the sable bellies up close. We saw the most beautiful variety of birds.

The tranquility was breathtakingly heavenly.
All changes we would like to see in the future is that they do make a plan to put a TV in the units, especially for families who enjoy their privacy and don't want to sit at the Lodge and watch TV and that they will prepare the pools/Jacuzzi's for guests. We're just a little disappointed because the reason we actually went there was the privacy of your own heated pool which unfortunately didn't work. The pool was empty and the hot water facility was not working and that's what you pay for. Furthermore, we really enjoyed the silence and hospitality.
The accommodation is exactly as the photos are. Very well furnished and you only have to take your clothes and arrive. Very friendly welcome, will definitely go there again. Would just prefer to be able to see more wildlife on the farm.
Enjoyed the time very much. Quiet and scenic, with a water hole, not even 100 m from our chalet, where we watched the goats and warthogs.
Stunning get-away for friends and family but not for a couple because it is not very private. Normally you want to be alone and romantic. Please take note that they ask R150 per person for a game drive and they only told us that after we had the game drive. But all in all it is a nice bushlovers getaway.
The chalet was lovely and well equipped and very clean. However, the site says that there is a TV in the chalet we were staying in and there wasn't. There was a TV in the entertainment area and that was not suitable. It was a lovely place but my biggest complaint was that the lodge is a hunting lodge, which was not mentioned anywhere on their listing on TravelGround. Morally, I will not support hunting lodges and if I was aware of this I would not have booked and therefore because of this, would not return.

The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, just the place to break away from the city's hustle and bustle. We were received very kindly. The accommodation is so unique just a shame that the condition of the linen needs attention. There were only bath towels. There were no towels for the Jacuzzi. Nevertheless, it was lovely to lie in the Jacuzzi and look at the stars.
