Great accommodation in a unique nature reserve. Loved the space in the well-appointed house with stunning views. Ideal for families and large groups. The outdoor hot shower was an absolute treat for rinsing off after the beach, and we loved the indoor braai area. The house was spotless, and we appreciated the relaxed approach regarding our late arrival on Friday evening. An added benefit was our late check-out on Sunday. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Spacious house. Well equipped. Most beautiful view. So much space. Will definitely go again.
We were a large group (5 adults, 7 kids) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Duntrune Beach House. The area is safe for kids to cycle around, and the beach is a short walk from the house. Stunning views and ample space, well-equipped facilities. Nothing better than falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. The location is tranquil, and the kids loved all the small wildlife around the house - tortoises, rabbits, and birds. The outdoor hot shower was an added bonus, especially after a day at the beach with loads of sandy children! This is a perfect place for a group - two dishwashers and two washing machines meant we didn't have to spend all our time cleaning. We will definitely return (hopefully soon!).

We did advise them of the problem with the upstairs shower.
Cleaning staff must be trained in technical skills and customer relations. The host was very accommodating, but the beds had fish moths. Cleaners were oblivious to it, even though they were crawling around. The place must be deep cleaned after every checkout.
Was ok, except for cleanliness and the smoke in the braai room. Everything we needed was there. A nice deep clean and the venue will be perfect.
Kids loved it. Area is fantastic to unwind in.
Remember your own hairdryer.
We really enjoyed the break. The house was well laid out, we didn't need to look for anything. Will definitely visit Duntrune Beach House again.
Duntrune is a large, lovely house with everything you need. It's nice and private and the views are very nice. The house is a bit cold, but our family had a great time relaxing by the fireplace. We will go again.

The place is to die for. Neat, well appointed and beautiful. The host Athur was always available on his phone. The scenery was breathtaking and the environment is safe.

House needs proper cleaning. Even spiderwebs were found inside the kitchen cabinets. Everything had to be washed before it was used. Furniture needs a proper cleaning. Beautiful views - more than enough space for everyone to enjoy comfortably.
We had loads of space, plenty of equipment and comfortable beds at Duntrune and the views were magnificent. Beautiful walks in the estate and on the beach in front of the house and a lovely hide at the dam. Some general maintenance on the appliances needs to be done and someone needs to check the state of the cutlery and crockery before the next guests arrive.
House was extremely dirty - couldn’t use kettle (hasn’t ever been descaled), cutlery and crockery all had to be washed before we used it. Kitchen cupboards had cobwebs inside. Pots extremely old and worn. Dishwasher didn’t work properly. I wouldn’t return to stay here.
