It was perfect. Correen's arrangements and support were more than you can expect from a hostess. I arrived late and Correen arranged for dinner to be dropped off at the accommodation.

I personally feel that the breakfast is not good. The scrambled egg and bacon stuck between 2 slices of bread one morning and the other morning between a dough, definitely not good. I could have gotten better value in George in terms of accommodation.

The management was already in contact with us with WhatsApp before our arrival and it was not even necessary to check in at reception; we could go directly to our room. All relevant information was provided via WhatsApp. The environment is beautiful.

Accommodation is cozy and comfortable, perfect for two people traveling or couples looking for a little break. Restaurant right next door for a delicious cocktail and meal with a view of the sea. Arrival was so easy everything was arranged in advance for my late arrival. Room was excellent, clean, fresh, beautiful. Everything very well planned and laid out! View from the room was breathtakingly beautiful. Dinner for the evening was already booked when I arrived no problems! Breakfast the next morning was on time and incredibly delicious, perfect portion, really couldn't ask for better. Definitely going to take my family to experience it. 100% worth it!

Correen always kept us informed via Whatsapp. The accommodation is very nice, a bit cramped with a beautiful view. It is quite old but well maintained. Correen sends a nice breakfast on trays to the room every morning, included in the rate. The restaurant, Duttons Cove, has delicious meals with good service. It is just above the rooms. Will use this again!

The place was not as clean as it should have been. Is very difficult to keep white bedding clean. The place needs a good spring clean and the slats were coming off on the table outside. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful but would not go back.

There was excellent communication from the day we booked to the day we left.
Friendly service, the place is perfect and close to the sea and restaurant with very good food, will recommend it to everyone going that direction.
Only tip is it would have been nice if there were cleaners.

As mentioned above, will come and stay again. Bed mattresses need attention.
My cell phone broke down and I had no way of waking up the next morning to be on time for my flight back to Johannesburg. I posted a request to please be woken up at 6:15. Luckily I woke up myself otherwise I would have missed my flight. I'm still waiting for that "wake up knock" or at least an alarm clock so I can wake myself up. I will also offer a takeaway breakfast option for travelers who need to be at the airport early. Maybe a biscuit or two, maybe a bowl of yogurt and muesli or a bowl of Kellogs? Or a takeaway sandwich and apple.

Very neat accommodation with breathtaking sea views and of course the fact that a restaurant is literally next to your room is a nice plus (just wanted more seafood on the menu, but at least we could improvise).
Duttons Cove is marketed as self-catering accommodation, but there was no microwave and cutlery available. In the room are only coffee cups and teaspoons and glasses. There was 1 Weber around the corner which is not exactly barbecue friendly. Braai will not work because then as a guest you have to either ask for equipment or buy. Even in the room it was impossible to blow dry hair because there is no power plug near the mirror. With The "load shedding" currently there was no schedule available nor was the option to get candles or a lamp given. We went to buy our own lamps and we flew, which also affects the suitcases or hand luggage.
Nicely decorated room. Unfortunately very stuffy with no air conditioning or fan. Shower floor quite slippery and very uneven towards drain. Our bedding was not the cleanest. No hairdryer.
After I got confirmation that my reservation had been changed for another extra person we got there and they didn't know anything. Wanted to stay all together but only had 2 units. These are not self-catering units. Just kettle and fridge. No plates or knives and forks to even make a sandwich. Place was nicely cleaned every day, but price too expensive for what you get.

The house is well located and very nicely furnished. Has everything you need. The house is very neat and excellent for families and a large group. We had a great time barbecuing on the stoep with a beautiful view of the beach.
