Located on top of a sand dune, the double-storey house overlooks the unspoilt beach and comprises 7 en-suite bedrooms. Four of the rooms are located on the first floor, and is furnished with double beds, and have doors that open onto a patio. The rooms each have an en-suite bathroom with a shower.

The ground-floor open-plan living area comprises a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area as well as a lounge. The kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table.

The location is perfect and the house is very well furnished. Communication was very good. I would definitely recommend it and would love to stay there again myself.
Our large multi-generational family of 16 people enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at Duyker Eiland Strand Villa. The little kids swam every day. The young adults made extensive use of the pool table and chatted late into the night. The 3 oumas sat in comfy chairs and enjoyed the amazing views, and we all enjoyed family meals around the large table. One of our group is in a wheelchair, and was thrilled to be part of the action on the ground floor. The house is perfectly designed, with many spaces for people to be together or separate. The beds were all comfortable, and the home was more than adequately supplied with everything we needed for our stay. Michellé checked-in daily, and even connected us with a local fisherman who sourced beautiful fresh-caught fish for a memorable fish braai on our last night. . We highly recommend Duyker Eiland Strand Villa.

The house is perfect for a large group. Enough space for everyone to either do something together or on their own. Perfect location right by the sea. Definitely recommend it.
The linen and towels were not fresh. There was also too little bedding for the winter. The roof is leaking in several places also on a bed in one of the rooms. The smoke from the ground floor fireplace is sucked in on the first floor so the first floor and rooms were under the smoke, which made us feel like we were camping. 2 showers and the kitchen sink were clogged, but Christine sorted it out after half a day.
Would recommend especially as a gathering with family. We were 14 people in the house and with the 2 floors and space it was great. Upper and lower fires burned regularly and even though there was "loadshedding" it was not a problem at all. Rooms also all have rechargeable light bulbs in them so didn't really matter. Took pet with you. Small lawn between house and beach and children could also swim under supervision from below or above the porch. Cistine welcomed us there and came to see us off again and was great to chat with her about St Helena Bay and the house itself. Michelle (owner) was also great and checked in regularly and was available when needed and extremely helpful. (obviously cares about her guests). We will definitely be back and not just one more time, but many more.
What a nice weekend with friends. The owner was amazing in making sure we were happy with everything and that we enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. House is big and spacious for large group of people with or without children. The view over the sea is awesome and just steps from the beach. Definitely worth it and will definitely make a visit again.

Highly recommended. Beautiful views even on the bottom floor, big waves, lots of whole shells, rock and beach. For a large group of people this is perfect.
