The customer service was good. The beds were of good quality. There was some dust on the kitchen counter.
Rooms are not soundproof. So any noise from other rooms keeps you from sleeping. Breakfast is not worth the money. It was nice, but I could have gotten more for the same amount at common breakfast places.
I appreciated the sleeping facilities and location. Very central and safe. Clean and no drama.
The place is beautiful and easily accessible. I will not book it anymore because the room smells of cigarette. It is so bad; it's the first thing you smell when you walk into the room. When I asked the guy about it, he said all the rooms are like that. The person helping at reception was not presentable. At the front desk, you should have someone who portrays the image and the face of the place. I'm not sure if that's how you want to show your first impression. I also had to send proof that I paid via WhatsApp. Surely that is something you should pick up on my reservation. The room was also very cold and there was no heater. Yes, the electric blanket was there, but if I wanted to sit and relax, I could not do that. I was forced to get in bed to get warm. I was really disappointed.
Queen bed was broken on one side. The duvets had yellow stains. The light bulbs did not work, room was dark. The WiFi did not work at all. Showering was a struggle because there was no water pressure. After the 2nd day, they replaced the light bulbs, and suddenly the plugs in the room did not work anymore to charge a phone (only the plug for the kettle at the window). The worker lay on the foyer benches and watched very loud stories on his phone through the night. And at 5:00 in the mornings, they will clean the passages and wake everybody up because of the noise.
I’ve had several issues regarding my stay at the Eagle Nest Luxury Accommodation. Before arrival, I requested a refund as there were no air conditioners and the lady was not responding. So, I checked in and overlooked the situation. During my stay, I was woken up at 6:30 in the morning by noisy guests, and the reception staff was laughing with them. They apologised, but I asked to be moved, which then led to no DSTV in our room and no hot water at all.
Very noisy late at night. Loud TVs and other noises that made us sleep very badly.
We had no towels in our room, and the shower was broken. Only one cup in the room was available for coffee. We did not have the remote for the TV and only found it under the bed when we checked the room for belongings just before leaving. Included breakfast was really not great.
No power, no aircon, no security.
Eagle Nest must try and have more places like lapa outside so that people don't crowd in that one lapa.
Incompetent staff. No security. Dirty sheets. Dirty rooms. Dirty showers. Terrible WiFi. Power failure, generator available not switched on. Terrible, terrible, terrible.
Our fridge has noise - more or less like someone snoring! No really! Our room (44) was at the back and so we were protected from the severe noise throughout the night by the firm at the front / parking area. There was not enough supply for load shedding (eg candles / emergency camping lamps).
The place is not close to the 4 stars they advertise, bugs in bathroom and dirty bedding and poor service. Definitely won't go again.
Friendly staff throughout. Rooms were neat, comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful, even when the power was out they went out of their way to make guests comfortable. I will definitely stay there again next year it was excellent service at a fair fee.
Good value for money. If you only need a place to sleep, I highly recommend it.
The cleaners make a lot of noise in the foyer which was right next to my room. I got bedding that had blood stains.
Service was poor. Room stank. Rooms were not cleaned. Keys didn't work and nothing was done to fix it. No cell phone reception and WiFi did not work. Pool was half empty. Owner tried to defend herself with weak reasons for the problems. Would advise against staying there. Receptionist didn't know how to handle the situation and didn't understand either.
Found the website very user friendly and the booking/payment process was easy. The facilities were great and perfect for a short stay as we required.

We enjoyed the accommodation a lot and will definitely make use of them again. The male staff members can be a little more friendly, but other wise no problem.
We had time of our life, even our stress levels are back to normal. It is a peaceful and quite place. Great service, spectacular experience.

Upon arrival everybody were friendly and helpful, from the security gate to the staff. Will stay there again and value for money.
The accommodation is exactly as advertised, we had a good stay, it's nice and quiet, and peaceful, and we had no problems. Thanks so much, we will definitely stay there again.

Noise in the halls at about 12 o' clock. Further clean. Very good location close to attractions.
Was pleasant, but would definitely recommend that they have air conditioning put in. Drawers in the kitchen area and the bin was very dirty. We slept in number 7.
The booking was done online and paid online, but when we got there the person on duty could not find my booking. I had to then write down my name on a notepad and insist that he keep looking, and then I showed him my confirmation on the phone. Then he wanted me to pay, and I had to repeat the process to convince him that everything had already been paid, even though I'd already showed the proof of payment. There were people who made a noise in the corridors until late at night. Would also be nice if someone could help you with all your luggage and bags up the stairs. Besides that, I believe the place offers value for money, it is very safe with safe parking. The rooms are very neat and comfortable and the fridge is a bonus.
