The cabin is situated on Beaumont Farm, which is hidden amid the Steenkampberg mountain range. The farm is adjacent to the Walkerson's Private Estate, and is just 9 km from the town of Dullstroom.
The tastefully furnished open-plan cabin includes a living space with a king-size bed with luxury white linen, a bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower, a lounge area with a sleeper couch and dining nook, a kitchenette, and a boma with braai facilities. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, oven and stove. The cabin features a wood-fired hot tub with spectacular views.
The natural stone retaining wall, solid wood finishes, and stylish interior decor complement the natural surroundings and landscape. Guests can awake to spectacular sunrises, snuggle up on misty days as the clouds surround and envelop the area, and enjoy beautiful sunsets while sipping a sundowner on the wooden deck. The secluded cabin is glass-fronted, allowing for spectacular views of the surrounding landscape and the fresh mountain air.
Great care has been taken with the design of the cabin to minimise the impact on the environment. The modern cabin is off-the-grid and is fed by a natural water source and powered by a battery system and gas. The cabin is equipped with a gas heater, and the cell phone reception is very good.
Eagle view cabins are remotely located on Beaumont Farm, situated high on mountain terrain and accessible via a 4x4 vehicle or private helicopter. The road from the Beaumont Farm entrance gate to the Cabins is only accessible with high-clearance 4x4 vehicles. Transfers are available on request at an additional cost.

27 guests' feedbackIt was off the books. We had a nice stay, swam and barbecued. You really don't need a TV with such a view.
Excellent getaway for anyone.
Good luck deciding if you want to go to 1 or 2, both really amazing! 1 maybe a touch more privacy and 2 maybe a touch better view, but both will give you an amazing experience! Looks like they are working on a third unit, I can't wait to test him out as well.
Most amazing experience.
Amazing! Also, very well stocked for a self-catering unit. The KolKol tub is easy to use and the water stays hot for a surprisingly long time. We found it a bit difficult to open the glass stack doors, so just used the normal doors. (which worked perfectly). Will definitely make this a twice-a-year breakaway.
Great location and setting! Outstanding construction.
Beautiful peacefull stay to rest and reset.
It was heaven, it's so unbelievable, the glass house. I would love to come back again and again. Everything was beautiful.
The stay was amazing and we enjoyed great views. I will come back again!
Very nice and peaceful place, we will definitely go again.
Parking is just far from the house's door.
Everything as per advertisement.
Incredible experience. Definitely soul food and ideal for romantic getaways.
It was a fantastic place! The name tells you how high you live on the mountain. Incredible location between nowhere and somewhere. Will definitely stay there again.
The views and the sunrise are to be dreamed of.
Was a good getaway for me and husband. Was very peaceful and definitely recommend Eagle View.
The place is very well furnished with a lot of attention to details to make your stay even more relaxing and comfortable. They even provided packets of ice in the freezer. The place has the most amazing view and is very well kept. Lovely walks on the farm. The most enjoyable and relaxing stay!
Eagle View is the ideal place to escape from the everyday hustle and bustle. It offers a fairytale location coupled with luxurious accommodation.
The sunrise is amazing through the windows. The place is tastefully furnished, best getaway for couples.
It's picture perfect! I was particularly impressed with the good and all the necessary kitchen equipment available as it is a little out of town and you want to cook all weekend without having to drive anywhere! Good quality from cutlery and crockery, to pots and pans!
We loved how peaceful it was. The views are out of this world! It was a perfect honeymoon destination. Imagine being woken up by sunrises each morning, a slice of heaven. The only two things that we would change would be the whole food situation. No one (us at least) wants to cook on vacation. I don't know how they could change that given the fact that it's up in the mountain but it would have been nice waking up not to worry about what we are going to eat the entire day (we do understand it is self catering but it would be a 10/10 for me with an option of having food delivered to us) and also the hot tub was a nightmare to use. It took my husband almost an hour to set it up and the water took almost 3 hours to be at least warm. The process of setting it up could be less manual.
Loved it. Turned off Did suggest for winter linens, and also bright lights for reading by the bed. Was bitterly cold, but also an experience, Nice and warm with the gas heater during the day, but because you can't turn it on during the night it gets terribly cold. But worth it over and over again.
Our stay was 5 star! The nature, stars, silence, sunrises, wild animals were just incredibly good for the soul. Eagle view is fantastically furnished and everything is pretty clearly summarized in the information book. We will definitely break away again to this piece of heaven on earth. Many thanks to Audrey for her service and helpfulness.
Accommodation is very weather dependant, hopefully you have good weather on your stay then what a place, if not then curl up and enjoy a good book.
Hosts were always willing to assist.
Wonderful, clean place. The place is cleaner and nicer than the pictures show.
What a beautiful place and a stunning location. The 4x4 drive for the last +-1.5 km just adds to the exclusivity. Perfect getaway for two.

The cabin is only accessible by a 4x4 vehicle, a helicopter or a bush plane. Eagle View has its very own private and unregistered helipad for those wishing to fly in. The establishment can put guests in contact with service providers for a 4x4 transfer from Dullstroom or a helicopter charter from Gauteng at an additional cost.
Guests will have to travel for approximately 4 km on dirt roads to reach Eagle View Cabin.
Guests will traverse through a private estate where they will be required to sign-in and then continue the journey to Beaumont Farm where the cabin is located.
