18 guests' feedbackDuring my recent business trip to Johannesburg, I had a wonderful stay at Eagles Nest. The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff were incredibly friendly, and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast that was conveniently packed for me to take on the go. And that beautiful view!

Husband and wife run and owned establishment. Lovely, neat and tidy with a beautiful view. The rooms are warm and inviting, the bedding, towels etc. are all very clean. We received a warm reception from the owners. Only downside was that the self-catering accommodation section does not have a small microwave to warm stuff up. Other than that everything was great.
On a recent business visit to JHB, I sought accommodation in the south of JHB. The guest house is well equipped with a beautiful view and peaceful rural atmosphere. It is surprisingly close to JHB city center and the eastern edge of JHB. My room was very neat and comfortable and my reception very warm. I would definitely stay at Eagles Nest again.

Self catering unit. Should please get porcelain plates to use in the microwave - can't use enamel plates in them. A cutting board is also handy for cooking!
We will definitely go back again... The accommodation was excellent and the hospitality even better!
Guests should be warned of the uphill or they should at least provide shuttle services from the gate. The view is beautiful and the other thing is that some guests might be allergic to spiders so I would suggest that you spray behind the curtains regularly.

Breathtaking views! Absolutely enjoyed the outdoor shower! Enjoyed our stay so much, it was like a short little vacation. Only small little thing is that there is no DStv available, and watching SABC is no fun! Lol!
