Off-road and mountain bike trails are available as well as safe hiking in the mountain or along the Elands River to our un-spoilt catch and release dams area. Do some viewing of a ‘mysterious’ stone circle on one of the trails on the property or challenge yourself to some rock climbing at some of the world’s most sought after hotspots a few kilometres away.
Also available is a registered outdoor shooting range for both rifles and pistols. Please note that only registered legal firearms are allowed.

It was nice to just relax quietly on the farm for the night. Everything we needed was available. Nice coffee in the rooms with cremora. Very nice. Everything was neat and clean. I would only recommend a clearer sign for reception when approaching the places, on the wall perhaps. We saw the rooms, and thought the office was elsewhere and completely passed by.
Friendly people with a fantastic view.
The view was fantastic. The quietness was pleasant. The food was really good, but it took the kitchen a very long time to serve the food. On the second evening, we opted to braai on our own.
My sister and I were truly happy with our weekend at Epa Valley Farm Stay. We were delighted with the views, our flat had everything we needed and our host was gracious and caring. It was a lovely, peaceful stay so close to nature and we will definitely return next year!

Maybe a dining table will help. We will definitely come back. Raymond organised a taste session of the Epa! Sauces and pesto and shares interesting facts of the farm and Epa! He also showed us around on the farm.
Clean, affordable farm accommodation with a nice view! Owners go out of their way to accommodate! Really lovely. Children fed horses and despite rain all weekend it was still fun. Will go again soon.
Breathtakingly beautiful surroundings, very private and peaceful. The units are well appointed and have everything you need.
Ideal for couples. Good break away from the city and not too far to drive from Pretoria or Johannesburg. We had a nice and peaceful stay. Raymond is very friendly and hospitable. The farm has a nice view and we could also walk. Kaapse Hoop is located nearby and did some of the hiking there. Accommodation is basic but well appointed. Our dog played wonderfully with the other dogs on the farm. Will definitely return!
The farm is beautiful and peaceful. A great escape away from he busy city life. Our host, Raymond was very friendly, welcoming and always checking up on us and making sure we are comfortable. He gave us a free quad bike tour around the farm and also did a chilli sauce tasting which was amazing. I would definitely go back again for tranquil atmosphere and hospitality.
Beds very low, difficult for older lady to get up. Thin mattresses. Dangerous stairs without a railing to get onto the porch. TV in room not working. Just die yourself. Strange vehicle that stops right in front of sleeping place all the time. Shower floor soapy and again no rail to hold on to or bench or place to put clothes down. By seal not pretty. Cold wind blowing in. Was really not a pleasant experience for me.
We had booked 2 rooms with 3 beds in each with bathrooms. When we got there management was in such a mess. Did not know what was going on and a number of people booking in were unhappy. We got 2 rooms: one with bathroom and other was in, like, a dorm with open tops so you had the lights on all night and could hear the other 5 rooms people snoring. Place was not dirty, but felt grubby. The gentleman was helpful, but rest of staff was very abrupt. Waited over an hour for the food which was below standard.
There was no coffee in the room, no toilet paper and the kitchen was not good at all. Staff was unfriendly and we felt unsafe.
With the most beautiful views and hiking trails, we had a great time. The kids were in heaven with all the open space to ride their bikes and play. Very neat and quiet. The people are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend anytime for a quick weekend getaway or a big family reunion/weekend.
The place is neat and clean. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The place has a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful scenery.
My son was sick with a stomach virus when we got there. They brought him a delicious chicken soup with the meals we ordered without our asking. So, these are exceptionally kind and considerate people. One small negative point is perhaps the room size. We slept four people in one tiny room. There was a kettle but no other kitchen facilities. And the way there from the tarmac was not far, but a bit rough for a regular sedan. But friendly and helpful.

Beautiful view and value for money. Just didn't have hot water, but with the hot weather it wasn't a problem. Conveniently halfway to Marlothpark.
We only stopped over for one night on our way back to the Cape. Basic, but clean and with comfortable bed and bedding.
Such an amazing stay. Tranquil and serene. The natural surroundings and the warmth of our hosts made it a great breakaway. Oh and the home made Epa Sauces are to die for. I'll definitely be ordering more!
We enjoyed a relaxing stay. The place was clean, and our son enjoyed playing with a ball on the stoep and lawn. We also had a relaxing stroll around the property and gave the horses some carrots to eat.
There isn't much to do after you've greeted the animals, which are well behaved and beautiful. The farm is huge. It can be quiet (they have a shooting range on their property) and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. We arrived well after our check in time and our unit was not ready and we had to wait. However once in the unit we were very happy. It was clean and very neat. I would however like to note three things, it would be nice to have somewhere to hang your wet towel, the coffee etc. would be better on a little tray and the TV mounted on the wall. This would give your guests more space. We loved the little bookcase which had a variety of books. Please do warn your wandering guests where it is safe to walk. We loved our time there and hope to come back so we can walk up into the kopje and find your "stone circles".
We were told that their staff would wash the dishes in the shared kitchen, but the dirty dishes sat there all day until Sunday, when we left. Our living area was also not cleaned throughout the weekend.
This was taking self-catering to the extreme. Who, in a self-catering place does not supply crockery or cutlery? Then, to make it worse, the kettle was broken. The bed was broken so my partner slept on a downhill. Not the place to recommend.
The farmhouse we stayed in was very neat, we immediately felt at home. Beautiful view of the green grass and mountains around us. We could take our dogs with us, the house is fenced and completely safe. The staff are very friendly and helpful and their food is delicious. Our food is simply delivered to us at home, it feels as if you are in another world.
The 2 weeks at Epa were exactly what we as a family needed. To wake up every day and see the beauty of nature, breathe fresh, clean air was such a priviledge. We had all we needed for our stay. Would recommend Epa. Thanks for you friendliness and hospitality. To stay there again one day would be great.

Great atmosphere, pleasant place to visit, delicious food at the restaurant and that sauce! Kaapse Hoop is just a stone's throw away, Baberton is close, God's Window for a day trip is comfortable.
The owners contacted us early to make sure we got the place without any problems. The unit itself was very convenient with all the amenities as described. The down spring duvets were extra nice in the cool evenings. Our stay was really great at Epa!
Great stay. We were three people and spent one night here. Each of us had a dinner consisting of ox tail, couscous and vegetables. Our room and dinner for under R800 for the night. Very quiet and peaceful. Was great to hear the cattle early morning!
New business, so there are still things that can be fixed and improved. Service was really excellent. Personal communication. Staff spoiled us and stocked up on Epa! fetch sauces from storeroom. Everything was clean and tidy.
The accommodation was very comfortable and the service was very good. The road and the signs to accommodation are bad especially when it is dark. With my father who is 79 driving along, the stairs were a bit difficult in the dark. You should arrive there when it is still light so you can enjoy the view over town and valley.
Very basic, but lovely to sit outside and if it's not raining, you can see all the stars in the Sky. Very friendly reception by Marilu and her husband. It was a very peaceful quiet night's rest that we experienced.

Cama 2 has a lovely view of the Elands River and mountains.
The charming stay is converted from the original dairy farm and the accommodation comprises a choice of self-catering units, bed and breakfast options, rooms to share, backpacker/dorm style and a free-standing self-catering family house.
Entertainment for the children features a large lawn, a play area with jungle gyms right insight of the units. For guests convenience, a laundry service is available at an extra cost and can be arranged with management.
Off-road and mountain bike trails are available as well as safe hiking in the mountain or along the Elands River to our un-spoilt catch and release dams area. Do some viewing of a ‘mysterious’ stone circle on one of the trails on the property or challenge yourself to some rock climbing at some of the world’s most sought after hotspots a few kilometres away.
Also available is a registered outdoor shooting range for both rifles and pistols. Please note that only registered legal firearms are allowed.
