Had a great time staying at Eastcliff Cottage as it is perfectly located to explore Hermanus on foot. Walking distance to most restaurants, shops and coastal path.
Eastcliff Cottage is a 3 minute walk from the Checkers shopping centre, Woolworths and many more shops and restaurants making it the ideal place to stay. The secure parking is a bonus. To sit on the porch in the morning and watch the birds frolic, a winner!

The stay was excellent. The location and cottage were very good, but the best was the personal touch from the host!
The apartment is small but had a nice stay - we especially enjoyed the deck. Ruth received us warmly, and when we had a problem with the toilet, she solved it quickly. It was very convenient to have the shops so close.
The hostess made us feel very welcome and at home and was very helpful with information about the area. Beautiful, clean and simply delicious. Will stay there again for sure.
We were very kindly received by Ruth and felt right at home. Facilities are beautifully clean and the 5-star bed quickly sent our two tired bodies to dreamland.
Lovely porch to spend the evenings and hang out in the lovely Hermanus weather.
I would not recommend the place for anything other than an overnight stay. The place is very nice clean and tidy, but very cramped. When the weather is bad, you are literally dependent on a bedroom to shelter in.
This is the perfect self-catering unit if you want privacy. Only the single apartment, but with a lot of detail in the presentation. From the Arzberg crockery in the kitchen to the Weber braai kettle on the wooden patio. Nicely central, yet far enough from the main street that you don't hear the traffic and close enough that you can quickly walk to Woolies or even to the sea. I will definitely go back again.
