In our opinion, the place is rather intended for contractors. My daughter was supposed to sleep in her own room, but there was a terrible smell in the bathroom and she ended up sleeping in our unit. Our unit didn't smell very good either. The shower leaks water all over the bathroom floor. Also no fan in the room.
No, not at all. Hostess was not friendly at all. Guests hang out and make noise and get so drunk, they almost assaulted us. Room walls are so dirty.
The lodge is good if you are travelling alone and just for a sleepover. It can be a little bit noisy and crowded at the reception. Food gets served there and there is an unnecessary snooker table that's also blocking the way. On the 1st day the room was a bit dirty or used. The following day it was cleaned and nice. The caretakers were very nice to me. I will use the lodge again in future. I know what to expect. This is a 3-star lodge, so don't go with very high expectations. My bed was very comfortable and that's one item I do not compromise on. I didn't care for the TV - but also, I didn't see the remotes in the room. The wardrobes are not really conducive for a long stay. It may be best to travel with your own iron just for convenience. Like I said, I will use them again. Just don't expect too much.
It was a quick overnight stay during business travels. It is a clean and neat place.
We were very satisfied. We only needed a place to sleep for one night and it was perfectly adequate. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Very noisy environment. Definitely not the place to stay if you are working a shutdown. No option for food at the lodge. There is only 1 kitchen for the whole lodge and everyone must use that kitchen resulting in some people not being able to cook before going to work.

Our needs were very basic and Econo Lodge met them 100%.
The place is OK, just it was too noisy. I was tired from work and wanted to sleep early but some guests (contractors) who stayed there were making noise till 10 to 11 PM. Even when I reported it, they continued. Another boring thing was the TV channels, it was automatically changed for you. The place is fine, but I do not think it is perfect for a night guest. Contractors who are booked there make a lot of noise.
Bed has pricking springs.
The bed and TV sets need some attention.
The bed did not have a top sheet, the bottom sheet was broken. There was 1 towel for 2 people, no glasses in the room, no soap in the shower. The duvet was not clean and no top sheet under the duvet and there was no extra blanket and no one I could ask.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful, however I would recommend that they mention on their website that no soap is provided, only two towels are provided, one of which was a small face towel and was therefore inadequate. Then I just want to complain about one thing and that's the pillows, the pillows are old and mushy and we didn't sleep well on them at all.
No toilet paper, only one bath towel provided. No tea/coffee supplies on the first night.
We only stayed one night, but everyone was friendly. Will definitely stay there again in future.

I was really surprised, for the price, one can't expect much, yet a clean room and bedding is required - and that's exactly what you'll get, furnished in the style of a commune - rooms with a central hallway and living space, but that didn't bother us in the least, we were there for one night, and just wanted a place where we could sleep comfortably, and take a hot shower - that was safe, and offered safe parking. Thank you Econo Lodge for an easy and painless experience.
Very small, but clean and neat.
The accommodation was pleasant, but just needs chairs and a table. There wasn't soap in the toilet either. One night's stay was good enough.
It was close enough to the casino where we played Blackball pool. The people were always friendly and helpful. It was great to stay there for the week. Thanks Econo Lodge.

The bed was not comfortable and some channels of the TV were not playing, like the SABCs. And for the money charged was hoping the breakfast will also be included.
I was only disappointed that full DStv was not available. All channels were on talk shows and SABC channels.
Unfortunately it was very noisy therefore we didn't get a good night's rest. I would prefer having a kettle and cups in the room to make coffee.
The room was neatly equipped. Experienced problems with a clogged drain and shower door that did not work. Staff wasn't really friendly or helpful.
We were warmly welcomed, and quickly put at ease and in our rooms.

I enjoyed my stay at Econo Lodge.
The main problem I had, we had a wedding to attend the following day (Saturday) and on Friday night the hosts were making a huge noise past midnight on Friday. I'm pretty sure all the guests could not sleep because of that.
We literally only slept there. Was also grateful for the coffee making facilities and kitchen we could use.
It was like a hostel. Noisy at night and bedding had a bed smell. Had to ask for towels in the room and no plug for the fridge. We were given extension cord which was then taken in the morning.
The linen wasn't clean, the pillows had an odour. We pulled our T-shirts over the pillows to avoid the smell. The shower was not clean. Had trouble sleeping. It was not a good experience, even though the hostess went out of her way to open up early.
Was kindly received. Neat rooms.
We came for the Graceland Junior Open and it was perfectly located, close enough and easy to find. The rooms are neat and we were warmly received. We'll definitely us the accommodation again and recommend it.
