The place is really value for money. I would just like to mention that the power that was out did not go down well with me. We woke up in a swimming pool. If you open the windows, the mosquitoes bite badly. I would suggest that you take precautions so that this does not happen. I see some of the places have a security door, and I also want to suggest that all places close their security doors. Gates do not keep the enemy out. Other than that I have no complaints. Thank you.
You can only watch the TV. Sometimes you just want to relax in front of the TV after a long day on the road, and then the remote control's batteries are dead and more than half of the movies don't work.

We had a nice stay, all the basics we needed were there. Bed linen was clean but had stains on it, which makes you wonder if it is really clean. The double bed headboard is worn and will need to be checked. Maybe just a coat of paint? There was only coffee and one bag of tea and no biscuits, which would have made us feel more welcome. Sorry, I have to be honest. Otherwise we had a nice stay, we felt safe.

During our previous visit in March '24, there were an awful lot of cockroaches in the unit, kitchen and bathroom. The time we were in unit 2. The fridge had a very bad rotten meat smell. We would prefer that the DSTV channels that other guesthouses have are available. Other guesthouses in the same price range offer a small bar of hand soap in the bathroom.

Quiet atmosphere - never felt unsafe, places are set up in such a way that you need everything you need for self-catering, there is even a place to grill a little meat, few self-catering units are set up for this although we didn't use them ourselves, this was quite ' a welcome addition. Everything was very clean, I'm pretty pumped about it and the accommodation did not disappoint. They were also able to help us with an early check-in, although guests had to check out first in the morning.
Stay was wonderful. The only recommendation I might make is more canopies. I'm always afraid of hail. Very friendly and helpful. This is our favorite place to live in Bloem.

It would be nice for a mop and broom in a cupboard as we travelled with a small child and they dropped things and we couldn't clean it up properly. It offered a kitchenette as part of the stay. A small 2-plate or 2-plate induction cooker would have been nice as not everything can be cooked in the microwave.

The place is perfect for an overnight event as well as a place to live in if you are visiting someone in Bloemfontein who does not have accommodation for you. The price is fair and what you see is what you get!

The guest house's safe parking was very important to us. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to spend the night at Edaneg again.

This was our 2nd time at Edaneg and will definitely book again for later in the year. Know what to expect, know what we're going to get, it's just a breeze to stay there. Spar, pharmacy, home industry, banks and Universitas are in the vicinity.
The special unit (no. 3) is a bit cramped for 5 people in terms of room to move, but the private braai area outside makes up for it. This was the 3rd time we stayed at Edaneg and will certainly do so again in the future.
Only the decor was different from the photos on the website. The Wi-fi lolled when I wanted to watch TV.

TV was not working properly. Parking a big problem, had to carry all our bags, couldn't park near accommodation. Sink plug was too small, water ran out. Will never stay at Edaneg again. Extremely weak. Just want to say a big thank you to Nikkie for her assistance and help in trying to fix everything. Thank you very much Nikki.
Unit 1 is a very tasteful, spacious and pleasant apartment unit. Will stay there again. No complaints really, some people might prefer a shower, we were happy with just a bath.
Ian, if we could rate you 10 out of 5 we would. You went out of your way to help us with that big trailer and reassured us that nothing was too much trouble for you. Edaneg is all you can think of if you want to sleep well without any worries.

We have never had any problems at Edaneg when we stay there. The units are beautiful. Sleeps 3, and furnished as if there were 2 separate bedrooms. The kitchen facilities are completely adequate and there is nothing wrong with the shower. Large fan in the unit. And also heaters by the beds. At 8:30 pm they quickly reset the TV - in Afrikaans. No awful DStv channels - preloaded movies and animation. Each unit has a separate braai area with seating. We used to sit and roast marshmallows there as a family. Very well located, very safe, very friendly. The wifi was in proper working order.

The place is very small, but is clean and tidy. What was only bad, however, was that the water was off in large parts of Bloemfontein. They gave us one bucket of water that night to flush our toilet. Furthermore, I had to go and buy bottles to be able to wash just us after the long drive.

Soon forget about the long road. Our stay in Nr. 1 was really special. There is just about everything at your disposal. Sinking into a warm bath and slept very well. My 19-month-old granddaughter slept father and mother from their double bed. Never even thought to ask for the availability of maybe just a Camping Cot in such a case with small people, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was also available. They just think carefully about everything. Thank you very much, I definitely recommend you to travelers.
This is the second time we have stayed in the unit - can't beat what you get for the good price. Good communication and helpful with inquiries about the area. The unit was really very neat, thank you very much. Maybe just to note or keep in mind - the bath is very narrow, even for us narrow people. There is a hand shower but no shower curtain. Maybe they could consider converting the tub into a bath/shower for a few rand.

Edaneg's service was friendly but the beds, bath, walls and floors were incredibly dirty. There were brown and yellow marks on the walls. The bathtub was too dirty to bathe in. The cauldron was pitch black inside and smelled like Jik. It was a cute little place with everything you need but it was so dirty that we just wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible.
Because we arrived late at 9pm the lady that escorted us to the room was friendly, she let us in and went to her room because it was late already we just sat up whole night after a long drive down from the Cape and could not wait to leave early the next morning, what you see is misleading and the rating I think is inflated, place was disgusting, filthy and I will never recommend or use this place ever, sheets was not changed, place was dirty and disgusting.

Very cute little cottage, a bit small to what I thought upon booking. No doors in the accommodation so made it a bit hard for me as a lady staying with my partner and his friend. Would recommend for a family with a small child, but not for three adults staying together. Overall clean, and tidy.

We were 3 adults in the unit next to the garage. There are two small rooms (without doors, only doorways, which are a bit inconvenient), bathroom and a small kitchen. Everything appeared tidy, only at the base of the standing fan there was a lot of hair and dust which indicates that it was definitely not swept well. Furthermore, everything was in order and well enough equipped for a night's stay. A rack inside the shower and above the face wash basin would be very handy, please, as well as a hook to hang clothes or a towel - you have to put everything on the floor. Will use Edanog again.
Cosy cottage, but host should invest in decent new pillows. The toilet should be thoroughly cleaned immediately after each stay which were seen to as requested. The cleanliness of the fridge and coffee counter should also not be missed.

Everything neat and clean. I was upgraded to a larger unit and it was very nice to have a bathtub. Nice quiet and I had a nice stay.
The sheets and pillowcases on our bed in the master bedroom had not been changed after the previous guests or had just not been washed thoroughly. The stovetops were sticky and only clean at the top. The freezer drawers were dirty. One also expects better coffee in a guest house than the instant coffee that was available.
We slept over as we visited our daughter at UFS.
Although the disadvantage is that the entrance from the main road is a bit dangerous if you wait for the gate.
We only had a toilet problem, toilet kept on running and it was some kind of a hinder when we tried to sleep as toilet is next to main bedroom and kept in leaking/ running water, which in itself is a big waste. The lady that gave us the key and showed us to our unit, I brought it under her attention on arrival, she knew about it and said that the plumbers could not fix it, was looking for a stop tap just to close it while we sleep, no stop tap. Also WiFi connection very poor, that was only problems. I will still book at Edaneg as if is clean and private and affordable.

Nice stay and it's a cute place, just a very noisy street. The other people checked in after 9 and were terribly noisy until after 11. The master bedroom in Unit 3 also has no fan or air conditioner and it was terribly hot.
Since we were 4 adults and 1 child, the unit was way too small. It was terribly hot and the unit was not very clean. There are only butter knives and we needed a sharp knife to cut fruit etc. to cut I don't think we will stay here again. Unless we can get the bigger unit.
This is our 2nd stay at Edaneg simply because we know where in Bloemfontein. For a 2nd time, the unit we booked is not ready. The staff member who had to let us in was not wearing a mask - also no sign of Covid 19 precautions in unit. The unit was clean, but the sloppily made bed made me wonder if the sheets were fresh. Five-bed unit, but no chair to sit on! In my opinion, Edaneg will need a lot of grace to survive!

The owner was very friendly and considerate. After receiving the key from a spontaneous lady, who immediately made us feel at home, the owner contacted to hear if everything was OK. The next morning with the handing over of the keys he also thanked us for sleeping there and wishing us a safe journey back. We immediately felt at home there. It's a bit cramped, with no place to sit. However, for one night's sleep it was completely sufficient.

Was a nice place. Felt safe and we slept very comfortably. Warm bedding and fans were available if anyone got hot. Milk cartons are provided for coffee, as well as coffee. Tea and sugar. There was no problem with hot water. There was construction behind the building which was a bit noisy early on, but this is temporary.

The sleeping-4 unit was clean and tidy. Problems were that there was no table to eat. There were 2 plastic chairs, but one was broken so we had to sit on a bed and eat. TV is programmed to play only one movie. No normal TV channels. Toilet door (which opens directly into the kitchen) cannot be closed from outside, so if someone comes out of the toilet, the door must be open. Little bit cramped for 4 people, but we could comfortably sleep and it is very close to the university. Staff are also honest and let us know that my friend forgot her smart phone (tablet) there, so 10/10 for honesty.
There is not a lot to do. The owner needs to consider getting air conditioning in the hot climate.
Edaneg provides comfortable overnight accommodation. Only inconvenience was that there is no anti-theft in front of the bathroom window, therefore it cannot be left open. Would use this facility again though.

Nie genoeg fasiliteite/toerusting vir 'n selfsorg-eenheid nie: geen opwasmiddel, vadoeke vir skottelgoed, of plek om nat skottelgoed te pak nie. Nie 'n skêr om kosverpakkings oop te maak nie. Geen tafel en/of stoele nie - ons moes op die bed sit en eet. Badkamerdeur is 'n konsertinadeur wat nie kon toeknip nie. Geen rakkie of hake in die stort nie. Dubbelbed staan in die hoek van die kamer, onder 'n venster met 'n gordynhaak naby die koppenent van die bed. In die nag het die knop van die gordynhaak afgeval toe ek die duvet oor my trek. Maar ons het veilig gevoel en die omgewing was stil. Met veilige parkering vir ons voertuig. En baie vriendelike personeel.
The accommodation was neat and suitable for what we needed.
The place is very tidy and recommendable - kitchen has all the necessities, but in the room you either have to sit on the bed or hunch over to see anything in the only mirror - our double bed's bedding en pillowcase weren't "fresh" - when I opened the covers the sheets were wrinkled and there was hair on the pillowcase - so it did not look fresh and recently changed. It is stuffy and warm and the fans make a terrible noise - I would recommend an air con.
The place was neat and adequate. It was just very hot and apartment did not want to cool down even though there were two fans provided.
In addition to crumbs and grease spots on the sheet, the pillowcases also had marks and patches. The general feeling was one of "this place is not clean." We were given another unit. The cleanliness was better, but not perfect ─ among other things a dark hair on the sheet, one on the coffee-making unit and another in the bathroom on the floor. We feel that regardless of price or whatever, cleanliness can never come second. This guesthouse is in contrast to other places we have already booked through the website.

The fridge was not cold. There were small ants all over. Bathroom door does not close properly. The showerhead is so clogged that the water sprays everywhere except downwards. The mattress is in a terrible state and has been completely slept through . The photos are very misleading as to the size of the place. The security is very good and the grass and braai areas were spotless as well as the cutlery and crockery . The young lady that welcomed us is very friendly,helpful and efficient-definitely no complaints there.

If you look at photos you see a nice double storey building. But we were put in a small room next door. Parking was far away with all my belongings. They refused to let me park any closer.
The bedding has been washed too many times, so it didn't fit properly over the mattress and crumpled under your body. It is extremely cramped and if you sleep against the wall, you have to climb over the other person to get off the bed. Even at the foot, there is no room, since the fan is there. The fridge wasn't really cold either.
The pictures of Edaneg are not what you get. Marks on the bedding, no mattress protectors on the beds. It's quite gross. Water pipes make a lot of noise! The towels look very old! The freezer compartment of the small fridge froze and could not use it. The grass by the main room's window has not been cut and rubbish is lying around. Didn't even meet the owners or see us in or out. The walls very thin, the neighbors could clearly hear. For R700 a night, I don't expect to find Ricoffee at the coffee station.

It is a very neat place and very clean. It is anyone's dream place to spend the night. The service is very good. I recommend them to anyone.
Would be great if they added roofs for the cars. Our TV's sound was very faint even when we set it on full volume, if you the fan is switched on you don't hear anything. And when we switched off the TV we couldn't get it on a channel again. The single bed is a tad to high for gran to get on it by herself and the double bed has a hard line in the middle, but in general we had a lovley stay.

The entrance to the guest house needs some attention, because you get the wrong impression when you arrive. When we saw the rooms we were pleasantly surprised, very welcome and the rooms are beautiful. The bathtub in our unit was a bit small, and we would have enjoyed it more. Other than that, no complaints and we have already recommended Edaneg.
It was clean and central and safe, however, it seems that the roof does not have insulation in unit 4. It was extremely hot, although there was a fan, it didn't help much. The toilet was also leaking. There was only a bath. Would have preferred a shower.
Such a great place but the unit is in definite need of an aircon. We didn't manage to get a good night's sleep due to the heat. We were very grateful that we were able to check in later.

The accommodation was surprisingly beyond our expectation (as opposed to the other places that we stayed at). It was neat and clean and quiet (perfect). My advice would be upgrading the pics on website. The place was much nicer than advertised. The website does not serve justice. We had a litter issue with the microwave and the toaster, but reported to owner immediately. Will definitely go back.

Good address and easy to find. Nearby businesses and petrol pumps. Would have like to get full DSTV. It's not so expensive to include it in a package. We also have a guesthouse with full premium DStv and the effort is not too much. Could encourage guests. Next door is a house with wooden stairs which is very disturbing.
When I look at the picture and compare where we slept, it is definitely not the same place. The kitchen has a braai pan and microwave oven, no plate and pot to cook something. We didn't expect to wash our dishes ourselves, but it was solved for us. The nice fire place kept the cold away. We were not informed about the WiFi. Fortunately, there is also the Spar nearby with delicious pizzas next door. Clearly they are used to the cold and they let us sleep pretty warm! I would just like to be able to choose whether I want a living room or not!
Because our car developed a mechanical problem we could not be in Bloemfontein on the originally booked evening. I called Ian, the person in charge at Edaneg, and he was immediately willing to move our booking to accommodate us. Just a pleasure to do business with such people!

One can hardly find neater, better equipped accommodation in this price range. Extremely suitable for a night's sleepover. Unit 2 is very small, but fully equipped. If you have "issues" about things like new mattresses and bedding or want to stay longer than a night, try one of the larger units or upgrade to more expensive accommodations. We booked and paid in advance for 3 nights, but after the first night decided to sleep in another guesthouse as we were dependent on a good night's rest for good concentration on a course. Very close to the university.
We had a very nice stay. Friendly service and beautiful rooms. All negative aspect is that it seems that they struggle with ant infestation. There were ants everywhere in unity.

It was our 2nd time staying there, unit nice modern and tidy, but the fact that we had already traveled 1000 km we just wanted to shower and relax. But the TV setup is very poor. No regular TV or DStv. Just a system to watch movies.
We did not spend a lot of time at Edaneg. I would have liked a shower in my room, there was only a bath. Lastly I wouldn't put so much personal information in the room, I found that a bit unprofessional. When we arrived there after a 11 hour drive, there was no water, although it was a municipal fault, we would have liked to be informed upon arrival. But overall, we had everything we needed.
The place is beautiful and I had a nice stay, just a pity there was no milk for the coffee and early in the morning the water ran out too. But otherwise no complaints.
General maintenance is required. Mattresses may need to be replaced. Cobwebs everywhere. Despite that, very good.
Was big and comfortable. Was just very hot in room. Can't open window either because a pump or car outside the room makes noise all night. Master bedroom's mattress not up to standard either. Otherwise it was perfect for overnight.
Could only have got DStv programme, air-con especially in bedroom. Clock on wall for time. There was no air freshener. Doom for ants and adequate garbage can bags. Pots also do not have lids, only one large microwave bowl. Only 1 toilet roll available. Hot water also not available. Enjoyed it our way although we had to make adjustments to accommodate our time there. Furthermore, it was clean and tidy. Bedding good. Space is available. If recommendations are updated we will go there again.

The bathroom's shower has water and soap streaks on the tiles, the faucet has clearly not been wiped down for weeks. Towels were clean, but rock hard. The liquid soap containers were empty.
Neat rooms, ideal for business people who need a place to lay their heads. The media player is sufficient for that extra bit of relaxation and entertainment with loads of movies. There are braai facilities which work well and the units are set back from the street which gives privacy. Very nice experience. The surrounding area is a bit neglected, but not too alarming and security is pretty good. The guest house offers ample parking and is fenced with electric fences for added peace of mind. It is self-catering and no extras are provided, but for business trips it is ideal.
Shower needs to be repaired. The water leaked onto the bathroom floor and it could have caused an injury.

Weak double bed mattress in unit two could not possibly enjoy a satisfactory night's rest. Was tired the next morning because of the poor bed. Purpose of stay was to spend the night only and travel on safely.
About 2-star when it comes to luxury. Nicky was very friendly and helpful. Bedding etc. was a bit run down. Lack of ceiling insulation, very hot. Roof fans/air conditioning.
Rooms are neat and clean. However, there is no ventilation or a fan. Only 2 towels were provided in each room while there were 7 people in total. The outside environment looked unkempt and dirty.
After our first night, Tuesday night, we complained about the bed that was like a hammock. The Saturday morning my back hurt so much that I could hardly walk and my husband complained with reception again. They then brought another, very dirty, mattress and then noticed that the base of the bed is broken. They then brought another mattress and base. During our 11 nights there our bedding and towels were never changed, the dust bin never emptied and the unit never cleaned. There is only TV with movie channels. The fan was also broken, but were later changed for a working one.
Place is affordable, but there weren't any sheets on the bed, just a duvet and blankets. No pots etc. in no.2. Other than that, it was very comfortable.
We stayed at Edaneg twice on a round trip. At first we thought we were lost because it didn't look like the picture from the outside. It was cold outside, but we slept nice and warm. We were a bit disappointed that there wasn't actually room to comfortably hang out/eat inside. You just have to make a fire outside. A family might find it much more comfortable than a group of friends, as the TV in our unit was in the bedroom. The unit was neat, with a lovely bathroom.
Supposed to be self catering, but no stove or hot plate to cook on, never took away the trash or supplied toilet rolls.
Very disappointed, compared to other accommodation we have stayed in. The photos of the accommodation are very misleading when booking. The master bedroom's double bed mattress was worn out and very uncomfortable and the bedding in both rooms was not clean and old.
We were two parents who went home with two students in unit 3. A mop and broom greeted us at the entrance and a pile of leaves at the door welcomed us. The closets were full of cobwebs and long-legged spiders, the curtains in the master bedroom were loose, the bedding stained and wrinkled. The shower head in the shower was lying on the floor and there was only one roll of toilet paper for four adults. The absence of any chairs and a table to eat at meant we had to eat in town and effectively turned the unit from a "self-catering unit" to an "overnight room". Edaneg has a lot of potential, although next time we will look further.
The place was not very clean. No dishcloth or dishwashing soap. Soap and shampoo containers in the shower are empty. Coffee, sugar and tea were available, but no milk. We also struggled with the TV, movie channel. A warning about the many mosquitoes will also help.
Arriving at the place you must stand in the main road with your car so that you can call to enter. Very dangerous. Had the 3 bedroom which was dirty. Dust and ants everywhere. No sugar, milk and toilet paper were available. Mos went to ask. Also got one small thin roll of toilet paper. The refrigerator's freezer door doesn't even close. They advertise WiFi, but there was none. Asked too. Bathroom roof is dirty. The shower was blocked. Standing in pond water. Place was hot with no aircon or fan. No anti-theft. So the punters closed. Overheated and got up in the middle of the night and drove on.
Dirty equipment, rooms incompletely equipped, broken fans, no soap in mounted containers against the shower wall, mattress so hollow that we preferred the floor and bedding did not fit properly. No clean smell in the room, both sinks' water runs through the plugs. We could not park near our unit because there was an elderly person who had to move in and out of her room with a wheelchair and crutches. However, there was enough room for our car without obstructing the space. Extremely disappointing 3 day stay, we couldn't wait to check out.
The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable with everything you would need for a short stay. Our only complaint was that there is no small table inside to sit and eat, you have to sit with a plate on your lap.

I found this place at the last minute, and believe me it was fantastic. The 'house' was neat and clean and incredibly comfortable after a long day of being on the road. It has everything and more than I expected, and the rooms are even more beautiful than the photos (the bathrooms and beds are lovely). I would recommend the place to everyone. I really hope I find a place to sleep here again when I travel past Bloemfontein.

All 10 of my family members had a great stay. The units were tidy, the beds soft and comfortable, there were enough movies for the children to watch and keep themselves occupied. Hanging out area was private and was nicely laid out. Reception was cheerful and there were no shortcomings. Shopping center is close, yet the environment was calm and quiet. I would recommend the place anytime.

Edenag is a jewel in Univeristas with a warm and homely atmosphere. Ian and Jana are friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
We came from PE for the Grey Derby Weekend. The B&B is within 5 minutes from the school as well as walking distance to the nearest Spar.
We only stayed one night as we were on our way back from Kruger Wildlife Park. So, for us it was perfect. Everything is extremely clean and tidy and really can't fault it. There is a braai area and all crockery and pots and pans. However, if one were to stay longer than one night, it would be a problem to use all these things, because there is not a table or a chair in the unit, so I don't know where one would eat. I would advise that perhaps a mirror could be installed in the master bedroom and bathroom. There is one in the small second bedroom. But as I already mentioned, for us who wanted to stay one night, it met our needs perfectly.

At Edaneg we felt safe and secure. It had all that we needed - from WiFIi to a refreshing shower, warm bed and even coffee and tea available - we just went to purchase our own fresh milk. The location is great and a short driving distance to the malls.

I noticed that there were a few things that lacked attention. The curtain rail was unhooked, the curtain binding was half broken, there was no soap in the soap dish against the shower wall. Toilet bowl was half off, the shower light didn't work, no salt and pepper, as well as no tongs for the Weber's use. Furthermore, the location, safety, etc. very good. Will come again.

Arrival was a bit confusing as there is no definite reception area where one can check in. Parking area where car had to be left was slightly far from room where bags had to be carried. No other problems. Rooms were clean and tidy and suitable for our overnight stay.

We read the reviews so we were aware of possible issues with the hot water. Because we were careful with the hot water we enjoyed a warm bath every time. 2 Little issues: 1. It is a self-catering place without a cleaning service so there should be cleaning products in the kitchen. Also a broom and duster to remove the cobwebs. 2. The toilet doesn't flush properly. You have to flush it twice to just get rid of a tissue. But it was like a home away from home, in a quiet area and we will definitely be back. Thanks for your friendliness and hospitality Ian.

The unit was tidy and served the purpose for a one night stay. No seats are provided e.g. tripod benches / stools. Don't necessarily want to sit on beds and something useful. A large dog barked from time to time throughout the night. The entrance / exit to the parking area is very narrow and a tree on the sidewalk makes it difficult to see oncoming traffic in the busy road to see the kink in the road arrive in time. The parking area was very dusty. Didn't see/meet any of the owners at all during our stay.
We stayed in a self-catering unit. It was neat and clean, offers everything one needs and is centrally located. It was pleasant for us as a family to stay there and we will definitely book there again. We can recommend it to everyone.

There was coffee powder and sugar but no milk. It would have been nicer if there was milk. If you get there so late, you still have to look for a place to buy milk. Parking is far from the building.
The unit was not very clean. We slept well and the unit is well laid out.
Enit 2016 is small so rather suited as an overnight place not for social times (or dinner parties). We were on a quick to and fro trip and only had to stay the night so it suited us well, but if there was one extra person or maybe children it would have been uncomfortable. Maybe a small chest or table is advisable in the bathroom for your clothes or even hangers. Unfortunately we didn't mention in it in the feedback form. Very friendly and comfortable reception and we would like to try some of the new units in the future.
Very neat and well equipped. Owners were very friendly and even offered that we could watch the rugby in their home, although they were not there! Only thing that they could perhaps change is to add bedside tables and bedside lamps.
A fight over the DStv channels with other guests was a nightmare, you might want to look at more than one subscription. Otherwise our accommodation was very nice and good value for money.
The unit was very neat and clean with all accessories that one needs. It was also very easy to get there from the N1 with SPAR a convenient 300 m before you get to the guest house. However, we have found that for younger children (6, 10, 11) it doesn't work as well. There is no nice table with chairs where we could eat. The kitchen top is very high with only 2 bar stools and we missed space and grass where the children could run and play outside after the long line. We are probably just more used to it and usually prefer to stay overnight at guest farms, so that we can be out of the city with plenty of space.
The place is neat and close to everything. A specific arrival time only needs to be arranged, as the office is located at the back of the building and the staff does not know when the guests will arrive.

The accommodation was very clean and tidy. Unfortunately, it did not appear that there were four adults as per booking, expected. There was a shortage of towels and the coffee station was also not "stocked" as we found with a previous overnight stay.
Jana and Ian were very hospitable and immediately made me feel at home there. Single room is a bit cramped, otherwise no complaints. Swimming pool was a bonus for me, I will recommend Edaneg to other travellers anytime.
Some things have to be provided for every room, like soap, an iron and ironing board, clean pots, a refrigerator with bigger dip freezer, a chair where we can sit when eating and pot cleaners.
We were very happy to arrive at this cozy place but have discovered that none of the linen has been changed from previous guests. It was shocking to see hair in the main bedroom’s bed and vomit on the bunk bed. We have never experienced anything like this.
Exceptionally bad accommodation. I would definitely not recommend someone staying there. Room is not as advertised. The room is behind the garages on the left hand side. 1. You wait 5 minutes for hot water and then it's only a thin little trickle. My wife didn't even want to shower. 2. There are no proper curtains in front of the windows. Just a lace curtain and a broken vertical blind. 3. Basin's tap is completely loose. 4. If the towels were clean that is debatable. 5. Access to the place - the remote doesn't even work properly. This place is definitely not worth it.
The place is well located, safe, neat and has everything one needs (they could probably just add another fan). Thank you for such a nice clean place where we could spend the night. Will make use of it again on my way to the Cape.
The place has a modern feeling and is perfectly suited for a small family. Very hospitable, friendly people who were very helpful. Everything we needed for an overnight stay were there. Close enough to the highway and enough parking space for our trailer.
It had been a lovely place to spend the night after a day of travel. The staff of the place were really up and awake to help us. We felt very safe and could have had a good night's rest. Nice and peaceful. All that I would like to change are the stack beds' mattresses — they were uncomfortable and thin. Otherwise I can't complain. It was very nice.

Thank you very much for the hospitality and accommodatingness. The place was very neat and clean. Just disappointed about the hot water problem which still hasn't been solved. We inquired about it ahead of time and were informed that it had been resolved, but we were still doused in cold water. Was also very noisy early in the morning. Because the upper floor is inhabited, it was very noisy early on with vacuum cleaners, furniture being moved etc.
We stayed in the smaller unit. It was clean and nicely equipped, there were even hot water bottles for cold nights. It was just a little small and we would have appreciated an armchair or something, and a hairdryer. I think for one or two nights it is fine. If you are looking for a very neat, pretty and safe place, it is very nice. We were there for 4 nights and then you need a bit of a bigger space (this is personal though, people's opinion's differ).
We had a comfortable stay. But should mentioned that the spa bath is not very practical and can't be used by older people.
We had a very nice stay, all that was bad for us is that there is a terribly big bath in the unit and the hot water is not sufficient for 5 people. The geyser is on a "timer" and only heats certain times so it was quite uncomfortable for us as half of us had to bathe in cold water in the winter, that's all that was bad for us, but otherwise it's a cute little place.
Sufficient for the night we slept over.

You are received very warmly and immediately feel at home, apart from the fact that the place is a bit small. At least it offers a safe place to stay the night.
We were not booked in the room that we paid for. Had to be happy with the spare room in the house with no amenities as advertised.
The contact number you provided was also not answered and we had to call a second number that was posted on the car gate. There was also no one to receive us or provide the receipt when we left. Don't they seem very concerned about the well-being of their guests? We could not shower, wash or shave on Sunday night as there was no hot water and so we had to wait until yesterday morning to have hot water to use. When we were able to shower, we had to find out that the container with "hair shampoo and body wash" was empty and we could not use it. Thanks for the tea, sugar and coffee, but it doesn't mean much if there's no milk! When we wanted to make tea on Sunday evening we realized there was no milk in the unit and by then it was already too late to go out again. Perhaps you could consider putting it in your information piece that visitors must bring their own milk or otherwise you could make some of the small Parmalat milk containers available - 1 is enough for a cup of tea or coffee. Another suggestion is to perhaps also have "regular" tea bags available and not just "rooibos".
The place is beautiful but the bed lamp can't be used because it is attached to the bedside table and can't reach the plug. The electric gate doesn't work. We didn't see the people of the place once. It is very impersonal. There are coffee and sugar and no form of milk. The soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower are empty. There are two garages but I didn't even have a roof to park under.
Edaneg offers beautifully decorated accommodation where no attention to detail has been spared. It is well equipped for self-catering accommodation and also close enough to the casino and shopping centers if one prefers to eat out instead. We were warmly received and the hostess was willing to share any information to ensure we didn't get lost and also make recommendations of what we could experience and do where. It is excellent value for money and we would definitely stay there again.

My stay at Edaneg was absolute joy. The rooms are stylish and very clean. Walking distance to Spar grocery store which opens from 07:00 and is very close to the city center. The staff are available to attend to your needs at all times and they respect their guests' privacy too. A go to place for a good weekend away in Bloem.
We spent the night in the unit that sleeps 5. There were 3 of us, my husband, me and our daughter. We were kindly welcomed. Jana, the owner, is very cute. The unit is very neat. There is a large hot tub in the master bedroom that everyone in the unit uses. No shower. Although this was a bit of an inconvenience, I would definitely recommend it. It is also value for money and definitely one of the best in the price range.
Warm welcome by owners who are so kind and humble will definitely come back. Rooms very neat, however it would be appreciated if house keeping/cleaning during the stay of guests could be done. Very easy to find, close to waterfront, restaurants hospital and many other interesting places.

I stayed here for 3 nights while writing exams at the university. Nice and quiet for learning in the evenings, safe and tidy. Friendly staff. Own remote for gate makes coming and going easy.

The room was beautiful and neat and clean. Unfortunately the TV in the room did not work. We got there at 17:30 and had nothing to amuse ourselves with. I find the internet very "seductive". All destinations always look great on the websites and are not a true reflection of reality.
The apartment is very very small. Bathroom arrangements etc. is loose and falling off. Kitchen and one room are the size of a shoebox. No doors and little privacy. No chairs or seating.
