It's very peaceful with the wildlife watching and the hiking made it really wonderful and a nice swim after the run was just perfect. Having the animals around you and going to see them was worth it. The people there are friendly, you feel at home.
Eingedi was a very nice and peaceful experience with beautiful scenery and many cycling routes for the family. Werner and Noleen were very hospitable and we were able to have a good time. The game drive on the farm was a highlight to end our visit.
Road is very bad and full of holes. The game drive did not take place as mentioned in their advertisements and leaflets. Overall very nice stay. Could do some work on rates.
Will just set up the toilet/shower area closer to the tent camping area as what we used was at the back of the washing up area where you do your dishes etc. can clean and it was between the houses. The road before the exit at them also has terrible potholes and it is quite big for km far. Also didn't clean the fire pit/grills at all the next day. The garbage bins were also not near where the tent area is, only by the various houses. From 9 o'clock in the evening to 8 o'clock in the morning it was also like quiet time.
It was a nice area to visit.
Neat and clean and well run with great support from the owners on all needs. Nice farm with great views and game within property (by bicycle for us). We also cycled for 3 days on the district dirt roads, with lovely farms and views, doing typically 60 km loops. The farming area is safe and a gem for cycling on predominantly smooth roads for mountain bicycles. Note: Thorns on the road edges require the use of tubeless tyres.
It becomes very expensive if you have to pay extra for everything. Everything cost an extra R1080.

Eingedi in a very nice farm, we saw a lot of wildlife and stayed very comfortably.
For silence, rest and relaxation in nature, this is the ideal place to recharge your batteries without having to drive very far (from Bloemfontein).
Eingedi is a peaceful camp type resort. There are many hiking trails and the kids really enjoyed looking for the trail markers.
Wonderfully relaxing, away from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful nature, especially the hiking trails with wildlife to be seen everywhere. Friendly staff. Nice swimming and teenagers enjoyed it too.

Our hosts were very friendly, cottages was clean and had everything we needed. Upon arrival we were told we could go on a self-drive game drive (4x4 needed), we watched the sunset from the top of the mountain and enjoyed sightings of various game, this place definitely deserves another extended stay on my next trip as one night is not enough to enjoy all this venue has to offer. In closing a definite must for anybody who enjoys the outdoors.

This is truly a "retreat" - there isn't even cell phone reception! We had the perfect unit - away from everything and everyone. The wooden house has everything you need and everything was very neat and clean. For nature lovers who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, I would recommend it anytime. There are new owners and I am sure they will make the resort a great success. Just want to mention that the restaurant is not in operation at the moment.
The environment and the farm with its wildlife is an exceptional experience.
The directions are clear, but the signs to indicate the place were only visible from Ladybrand. We tried to contact by phone, but there was no response on the landline. Later we were contacted by the owner who then explained the way. Stay was very pleasant. What did impress us was that the landlady came to welcome us.
The chalets were clean and neat with everything one would require for self-catering. There are no TV`s in the chalets, which I prefer, and therefore one can enjoy stargazing with the family. You are allowed to do your own game drive viewing at the luxury of your own time management as long as you drive a 4x4. I can recommend this destination for a weekend getaway.

The accommodation offers a variety of cabins, chalets and cottages, all of which are self-catering, and comprises private bathrooms. Each unit or campsite can accommodate between 4 and 11 guests at a time.
Camping sites with electricity are also available for those who wish to bring along their own camping equipment.
