Outstanding! After we had to stay longer than planned due to the terrible snow, Marinda and her husband went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. They even offered to bring us food from their home and constantly made sure we were warm and safe in the terrible snow conditions.
We had a wonderful stay. There were "special touches" like OBS for the cold Harrismith nights and of course the rusk, which was extra, and not expected at all. We will definitely stay over again when we can!

What a beautiful place. Quiet, safe and peaceful. The balcony with its beautiful view of the mountain, wow. The sunrise was breathtaking. Thank you for the little things that were made and unpacked for us for our visit. Thank you for the fantastic coffee/tea station with biscuits and many more snacks. Fridge was stocked with fruit juice, milk and cold water. All these little things made us feel very special. We really appreciate it. You really made us feel at home. We enjoyed the chickens just as much. It just simply fit the atmosphere.
We found the guest house very clean, tasteful. The reception was very friendly. I would recommend this guest house with confidence. There were a lot of extras too: coffee and biscuits, milk, cold water, lights that still worked during "load shedding", and a delicious quiche for each person.
Marinda was a very friendly and caring host. She made us feel right at home, and everything was better and more than expected. The view and the location were extraordinary. I can't wait to go back there again.
We were well received by the host and she made us feel very much at home. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you need. There was free WiFi and full DStv that you could use. We will stay there again in the future if we have the opportunity.
Great place for a night. Lovely view of the mountains and a very warm welcome. It was nicer than we expected from the pictures! Very well equipped, and the extra bunk bed was in the main room, so we all had privacy. Just what we needed after a long drive. And the view of the mountains from the balcony is really lovely! (You can hear the motorway from the house, but it doesn't disturb.)
Place is very neat. The only problem is that they can easily make a step for the "driveway" side to get to the stairs to the upper floor. It's hard to climb a little wall to get out there, especially with the chickens and dogs barking and making noise all the time. It can become an irritation if you have driven a long way and you come to rest.
We as a family really enjoyed our stay. Our hostess made us feel very much at home. Very clean and tidy place.
We had a very nice stay. We were received by the most friendly hostess. The apartment has everything you need. There is a Jojo for when there is no water and also a generator for loadshedding. We will spend the night there again.
