Hospitable and friendly.
We were received very kindly by Willemien, immediately made to feel at home and had a great time. The unit was spotless and equipped with everything one could need and more. We could safely sit outside in the evening and enjoy the tranquility as well as the Restaurant "Fiesta Farm's" delicious food and drinks. Children's highlight was the free WiFi, golf and pool table that they could use until late at night. Willemien even ordered us pizzas from the town and had them delivered at short notice on a holiday! When we were ready to leave, we were also warmly seen off. Thank you very much for making us feel so welcome. Our stay was really a very good experience, will definitely stay with you again.
A cute little place for a quick getaway with beautiful gardens, very friendly people and top notch hospitality. A big plus was cottage 3's jacuzzi and the really cute driving range to have something to do especially in the winter months when swimming is not an option for the kids.

El Roi Guest Lodge is a very neat little place with a lovely swimming pool. Had incredibly good service. Johan and Willemien made us feel very much at home and had a great time together. Children could play well. Will definitely stay there again.
It was all I needed. I just wanted to rest and drive around a bit. The sound of the pool's fountain makes you extremely calm. Beautiful, friendly dogs would stop by when they thought I had been alone long enough. The pool strongly invites you to use it but it was a bit cool. Free WiFi was a bonus.
Everything you need is there and the restaurants are about 10 km from the place.
Bathroom and shower open into kitchen and TV room. Not comfortable space with teenagers/friends. One light turns on all the lights, everyone wakes up when you move through the room because of it. No dressing table in master bedroom. Have to use other room when everyone is done sleeping. Kitchen was incomplete with minimal and incomplete utensils. Rusty grater, rusty egg spatula, small oven not enough to make food for 4 adults. Noisy neighbors ensured that no one could sleep. Very nice and beautiful pool area with restaurant and bar. Friendly service.

Spacious accommodation, everything in the room is intact and works 100%. We are not used to an innerspring mattress, which hindered our night's rest somewhat. A good Cloud 9 mattress would be an asset! The lodge does not accept Capitec bank cards, which was a first for me after many guesthouses on the Panorama route.

Owner is very friendly. The room is clean and well furnished for a person to stay overnight for an evening. A chair and table outside the room would have been "nice". The lapa area can be wiped and wiped on a daily basis.

It was very neat but too expensive for what you get. Would like there to be a milk in the fridge and a soap in the bath. Air-con in that part of the country would also be needed. Everything was clean and tidy but I thought for R900 it would be more luxurious. We had a nice stay there because we only slept there and didn't have to use anything else. It was safe. Brochures about places to visit or places to eat would also have been nice.
The hostess is extremely friendly, and facility great. Road to the facility is a bit bad.

Was kindly received as well as the premises and room explained by the Owner. Very safe. Just far out of town as well as a dirt road that you drive for the last kilometer to get to the guest house, but it was a fantastic lodge! Will definitely consider El Roi as an option again in the future.
Willemien immediately welcomed us when we arrived. She gave us a bigger unit for the night. The unit was well-equipped and we had a wonderful rest after a long day on the road.
The management was friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable and tidy. I would suggest that they pay more attention to the interior of the bathroom ie. ceiling and curtains. The access road to El Roi Guest Lodge also needs urgent attention. Furthermore, our stay was good and we will use them again.
