Very nice stay in January 2024. Friendly service and breathtaking scenery in the area. Only thing to bear in mind is the condition of the road from Howick to the resort has bad potholes, so drive carefully. No mobile signal (Vodacom and CellC). WiFi reception is also not too good and the internet is quite slow.
Great place, clean, friendly people and everything is working. Lovely place to stay. Highly recommend. Beautiful surroundings.

The view from the room and living room is beautiful, quiet, peaceful and a fantastic place to just switch off from the world. We had a really good time and really enjoyed the place.
Wow, how beautiful! It's basic, but comfortable. The reception staff was an absolute pleasure and extremely warm and welcoming. This is one of the most beautiful places I've been to in a while. Well worth a visit. So many activities to choose from. I really wish I had more time here to explore it all.
Cabins had everything you needed in it - stunning views over the dam with loads for teenagers to do. Nice and quiet.

I definitely enjoyed my stay at the Elands Valley Resort. We would come back anytime. It exceeded my expectations. However, coming from Johannesburg, I was particularly concerned about the lack of a manned gate leading to the resort. Safety should be incorporated as a matter of urgency. That aside, ons het lekker geslaap.
Beautiful scenery, the cottage has a nice view and we enjoyed the variety of birds. Near the resort is a supermarket with almost everything one needs — 24 km from the nearest town.
It was beautiful, definitely a place we will book again.
We stayed in a 2-sleeper cabin. It is basic, but it is well stocked with all the essentials to enjoy self-catering. The view of the lake and mountains at Eland Valley Resort is awesome. The sunrise is magical!

Lovely pond, lots of wildflowers and rich birdlife. Road to Underberg some bad potholes, road to Elands valley not in very good condition with quite a lot of potholes.

The view from the 2-bed units is awesome. The unit is not big, but quite adequate. Cooking facilities are adequate, but a gas plate is needed during load shedding. Owners promised to rectify this. Bigger units have gas stoves. Minor problems were dealt with immediately, and staff were helpful. Recreation facilities were good, with a pool, table tennis and canoes. Walks were pleasant too. Saw a few bucks and a baboon troupe as well. WIFI was intermittent due to heavy cloud cover.
We had a lovely stay at Elland Valley and the staff and management took such great care of us!
A little upgrade needs to be done to log cabins. Better mattresses would be welcome. A heater in the cottages would be very welcome. Definitely take extra blankets with you in the winter.
The views are absolutely stunning. It is peaceful and relaxing. Home from home. To get away from the hustle and bustle, Eland Valley Resort is your answer.
The noise was unbearably bad. Even when I reported it to management they only closed the doors of the unit and continued with welding and noise. It was awful!
Very clean and tidy. Staff was incredibly friendly. Will definitely visit there again! It's incredibly beautiful and the staff is very friendly. The nature there had been an experience.

The accommodation was 100%.
From the moment you drive into the gate, you can see the resort needs attention, grass is long everywhere, bushes are growing everywhere. Swimming pool nice and clean, but grass is long all around.
The facilities are old, but neat. The new owners are busy reviving the older facilities. The surroundings are breathtaking and there are many activities for everyone.
The environment is very beautiful. Bunk beds are more suitable for small children than adults. Other than that, the evening was quiet.
Excellent place to stay and relax. I will definitely recommend Eland Valley.
Nothing more to mention. It was a very great stay and escape from the city for a week in December.
