22 guests' feedbackElandsbaai Trust has provided for the load shedding by making enough rechargeable lights and a gas stove available. The stand just goes on and on. Our German Shepherd could run to his heart's content.
Wonderful place with the most beautiful beach and sea view.
I think the inside braai chimney needs to be sorted out. The extractor doesn't help during loadshedding. A very poorly designed thing. Apart from that, lovely. Access to a washing machine would be nice. And there was no Wi-Fi available. Discount maybe?
Lots and lots of accommodation with indoor/outdoor braai facilities. I missed a gas heater as it was so cold. Kitchen well equipped. No wi-fi and loadshedding 10 hours a day! There is a gas bottle with kettle available. It is a beach house, well equipped.
Thank you very much for the kindness with which we were received. The house is well located and maintained and has more than everything you could need. We had a very nice stay there.

Everything is and looks better than the photos. Most wonderful, private getaway. Clean. Tidy. Best view in Elands Bay. The house is so spacious and well equipped.
The view of the bay is lovely from the porches and pretty garden and the house is very conveniently located to enjoy Elands Bay and the surrounding area. It has everything needed to make eight adults and small children have a great stay, winter or summer. The only hitch was that one of the geysers gave up and could not be fixed immediately, but the owner and manager did everything possible to help. Maybe maintenance should get a little more attention, but originally we enjoyed the stay tremendously and the geyser problem was just a minor thing. It would be nice to at least have WiFi as well.
Had a great time at the spacious house with more than enough bedrooms located by the sea with a nice indoor barbecue (if the weather doesn't want to cooperate) as well as a braai outside and the most beautiful views from the lower or upper floors. All amenities you would need are also available.
I suggest that the water situation for showering needs to be resolved. If water was being used elsewhere it bacame a problem showering upstairs. The furniture, mattresses & bedding need an upgrade. Everything is looking a little tired.
Everything is catered for, for young and old and large families. Rooms are large enough with built in cupboards. Sufficient toilet facilities available. Laundry facilities are available in wash up room. Built in fire place in dinning area is available for those windy nights. Ample fridge and freezer space available for caught fish or holiday supplies. Within walking distance from beach, convenience, liquor store and restaurants. Centrally located to explore the Northern and Southern parts of Western Cape. Would highly recommend this to families that need a break away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Wood, essentials and some luxury goods can be purchased from convenience store, no need to cart it with from home. Felt secure and safe and neighbour across the road keeps a watchful eye on the place and frequent police patrol occurs.
Great Location, great house. Had a wonderful stay with my husband and dogs. So close to the beach. Would definitely go there again.
The house is perfectly located! On the edge of the beautiful village! The balcony gives you a full view of the mountain and the sea!
Elands Bay is the perfect uncommercialized West Coast beach spot. Elandsbaai Trust is a comfortable family home right on the beachfront. Unbeatable sunsets from large balcony and patio.
A very well-equipped house right on the beach. An extremely comfortable place to relax with family or friends.
We were very warmly welcomed by Nita and felt right at home. The place is spacious and very tidy and all accessories were available. A nice kick-off and resting place.
The accommodation is five star. There is nothing missing. Clean and tidy, safe and natural is the view to dream of. We will visit again.
