This off-the-grid tented stand is elevated, and can accommodate 2 adults. The tent is furnished with a king-size bed, a chest of drawers and a chair, and leads out to the sun deck which boasts a built-in braai facility, a dining table, and comfortable sun loungers that overlook the bushveld and peaceful dam.
Next to the tent is a stone unit, which features 1 bathroom fitted with a hot-water shower, a basin, and a toilet. The stone unit also features a well-equipped kitchen that contains a fridge, a gas oven and a stove, and a selection of cutlery and utensils to use. There is a braai pit that guests can use, located a short walk up the hill from the tent; firewood is provided for guests.
This beautiful mountain location has many roads and trails that are ideal for hiking, running, and mountain biking. There are approximately 100 km of roads and trails of varying degrees of difficulty to explore. Elandsvlei Estate has plentiful wildlife, including giraffes, buffalo, eland, kudu, gemsbok, zebra, wildebeest, and many other species. Elandsvlei Estate's dams are great for fishing, and guests are welcome to try their luck fishing for various species including bass, tilapia, bream, and catfish.
Game drives are available for an additional cost per person.

21 guests' feedbackTook my wife there for our 50th wedding anniversary (stayed for 5 days), best decision ever. Very private and secluded. The most perfect location ever. Very friendly reception from our host Nicolas. A few hiccups with solar power due to weather, but Margaux littery went out of her way to accommodate us. Nowhere else did we find such friendliness and assistants like this at Elandsvlei.
The farm is in a beautiful area, dams, grasslands, ravines and forest. Plentiful game and huge variety of birds. We stayed in the luxury tent and it was clean and well appointed, and hugely private, a good 3 km from anyone. It is off the grid but the solar and batteries do struggle to charge when the weather is bad. Hiring the Kawasaki or Polaris is excellent fun and allows you to really explore the farm and have an amazing private game and bird viewing experience. I would certainly recommend a stay at Elandsvlei.

We had a great time relaxing and swimming in the pond. The heat was unbearable and no fan or air conditioner in the tent, but this is understandable because there is no power. We enjoyed it and would definitely recommend the place.

The tented camp is perfectly situated with a breathtaking view of the farm and pond. We rented a Polaris 4x4 vehicle and explored the entire farm. Lots of wildlife to see such as wildebeests, giraffes, blue wildebeests, chamoisbucks, red deer, moose and impalas. Will definitely go there again.
It's even prettier than the pictures. Very neat, fully equipped tent. We enjoyed our stay in peace and quiet. No one around us. Loved it!

We had a wonderful relaxing weekend. The location is beautiful and very private and secluded. Although off the grid, we had ample hot water and more than sufficient lighting. Beautiful, healthy game all round the farm. Will definitely visit again.

Beautiful, very well equipped kitchen, bathroom, tent and verandah. Even though no electricity, the battery lights did the trick. We loved sitting under the ficus tree watching the birds eat the fruit. Wide variety of game, spotted while hiking or driving. Lovely rock formations at the top near the MTN tower and the most beautiful trees. We will definitely go again.

Very nice place for a romantic weekend for 2. Braai was not cleaned, had to do it myself. I had to bring up the wood myself.
