The resort offers fishing, bird watching, nature walks, a swimming pool, a jungle gym, trampolines, self-catering chalets under shady trees, caravan and tent camping sites. Activities include river tubing and hiking. The resort is ideal for school group outings and corporate team building. There is a lapa and a stone hall for functions, a laundry and a small shop.
The stone hall can cater for up to 200 guests and includes a kitchen and a cash bar. It is ideal for weddings, conferences, dances, theme parties, corporate functions & family special occasions.
We are well known for our outstanding food of supreme quality. Catering is offered within 120 km radius of Waterval-Boven for end-of-year or other special functions, snack platters, spit-braai's and braai's. We specialise in weddings, wedding cakes, special flower arrangements, decorating of the hall or venue, and we provide music for the function.

The environment is beautiful. The accommodation is basic, but neat and very suitable for families.
One problem I want to point out. The lead or multiplug in the kitchen was not there. To boil water, the kettle must be plugged into the floor. Please sit down permanent extensions or a plug in.
Beautiful surroundings and campsites. Plenty of coolness and green grass. Unfortunately cold showers.
It was okay as most of the things seen on the outlook were closed and there were issues with management but we hope they can improve as that place is beautiful.
Unfortunately not. There was a power problem and although it was not the resort's fault, you still expect them to accommodate you with fridge facilities, hot water and a generator.

Nice for an overnight stay. Owners were very friendly. Location was a bit run down and Koedoe huts are too close together. If the Koedoe huts were to all be booked out at the same time there would be insufficient space for all the visitor's cars.
Management (Alta) were incredibly helpful and were on hand to make our stay a memorable one.
Close to many relaxing activities and lots to do for the young crowd.
The service was great from the first arrival. We had a great time. The chalet (Ribbok) was well furnished, neat and clean. The swimming pool, trampoline and zip-line kept the children busy. Recommended for a quiet weekend getaway. There is really nothing we lacked. Many thanks to Alta and her team. Alta even sent a whatsapp the night of our departure to find out if we arrived home safely. Very good customer service all the time. The du Plessis and van Heerden families.
Campsite is neat, with lovely trees and green lawns. The ablution blocks are cleaned more than once a day and are really very neat. The Kudu Chalets are neat and clean. There was a bit of noise from visitors playing too loud music, but overall it wasn't so bothersome that it was a problem for us.

The kids could walk to the swimming pool and play area on their own. Strangers' children came to play at our house and everyone was one big happy family. The cleaners came to clean every morning. It was lovely. One thing to remember is that the shop and bar are only open half-day over the weekends.
Wonderful accommodation. Well equipped. Lovely environment. Breathtaking hiking trail.
We only stayed one night, arrived in the dark and departed in the dark the next morning. We had great service by the owner. Really appreciated the clean towels and bedding, as well as the kitchen equipment. Will definitely come back in the future.
My family and I had a great time and the accommodation was good. Didn't have any problems and the area is very beautiful.
This experience was amazing, we interacted with one of the wonderful and good spirited ladies by the name of Florence... she made our stay a very pleasant one.
Location is good, it's right next to the N4 (traffic was noisy throughout the night). Good value for money. I had to ask for a braai, which they brought but took away again the next day! There were only 2 detached braais for 8 chalets! The lighting in the chalet was very poor and half of the light bulbs were simply gone. I asked to replace it but the request fell on deaf ears! Still, our stay was pleasant and I would go again.
