We were a group 13 ladies and let's just say things got a bit loud. The host handled it in a professional way, and matters were resolved. Overall our group's experience was great. We liked the home being close to the shops, restaurants and wine farms. When you arrive, you will feel the actual place is better than the pictures. The home has everything you need, all you have to do is bring your clothes. You would most definitely enjoy your stay at Eldorado's.

Power cords need attention especially under television cabinet. The television wires hang from the roof and from early evening the service (signal) is interrupted, after which it changes back to an image. The pool's edge was annoying - too high above the pebbles. Some of the paving outside by the braai was full of weeds. Cracks in walls and holes in floor (living room behind sofa). Lounge set cushions laid flat.

The house and cottage were excellent for 14 people. Spacious rooms, enough bathrooms and everything very tidy. Kitchen is well equipped. Air conditioning is a big plus. The visit around the pool and braai is also very cozy.

Eldorado is not pet friendly but an exception was made for us. Finding pet friendly places that are affordable is difficult. Many thanks also to Malmesbury for a wonderful dog show.

The place wasn’t very clean especially the crockery and draining rack which we had to scrub. All the crockery we used had to be washed first. The crockery and towels need updating. The house also needs a deep clean.

The house is spacious and the owner responded very quickly if we had any problems. There are a few things to pay attention to. The main gate was open during the day, a headache for people with toddlers. The double bed mattress in the room on the 1st floor is perhaps a bit long in the tooth. Although we had a great time we were glad we didn't need to wash dishes 3 times a day because the cleaning area is very cramped. The fridge has little storage space for a group of people because there are too few shelves.

We were a few families that were in the area for a wedding. The house was exactly what we were looking for. Each with his own private room and bathroom and a communal living area where we could socialise nicely! The service was excellent and everything was clean and neat. Would definitely recommend it.

Great stay for a group of people. The house is large enough for socializing in the living area, but also suitable for privacy with en-suite rooms. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the town's restaurants and shops. I would recommend that Eldorado provide a dishwasher, as well as heaters in the rooms.

The house needs extra gas bottles. The stove's gas ran out halfway through and the refrigerator worked very poorly. I see other guests have had the same problems so new fridge in that heat is a must! More fans please. We were there in 38ºC heat and every room and living room needs one. Thanks, would consider staying there again.

Eldorado is a beautiful place both inside and out. Each room was nicely furnished and the beds were comfortable. Upon our arrival we could not find the reception anywhere. All the doors were locked and no bell was available. We had to call the owner to confirm we were standing outside and would like to check in. Then we were summarily informed that it is now 13:00 and we can actually only check in at 14:00. The check-in time was not communicated to us anywhere via Eldorado or LekkeSlaap. She made us understand well that she would do the courtesy of accommodating us earlier. We only slept there 1 night and it was bloody hot. There is NO air conditioning! At 37 degrees C heat I would think it should be prioritized because 1 small fan is not enough for an apartment. The person who wants to lie in the room and the one watching TV have to fight over who gets to take the fan. Of all the places we stayed overnight in the Western Cape, Eldorado was the only one that had Kyknet on their DStv. We really appreciated it. We wanted to have a barbecue that night, but the folding barbecue grill was so dirty. Still signs of the previous braai's grease and tackle clearly visible. The porridge pot was still full of crumbs put back in the cupboard. Ants carried us away there in places where there were no signs of food. The bathroom is uncomfortably cramped. A tall person's head bangs against the shower head. A shorter person's knees rub against the sink cabinet when you sit on the toilet. No washing up liquid was available at the apartment. We had to wash everything before we could use it - even the glasses. Towels were far too small to fit around a standard person's body. Towels were hard too. The biscuit and coffee station was very welcome as we were flying and didn't bring our own coffee. It was a plus for us. Eldorado is a beautiful place but a few things need to be improved and I think then they will be fully booked at all times.
