We needed a place to stay urgently as my cousin passed away and her memorial service was on Saturday. I phoned on Friday to ask if we could possibly change as the journey from Johannesburg was 5 hours, and our clothing would have been wrinkled. Louise assured me it would be no problem. When we arrived at around 09:00 a young lady in charge assisted us and showed us to our room which we should have only booked into at 14:00. We changed and then went onto the memorial service. We also booked for dinner and hadn't paid for it. We were told it was okay, all could be sorted later. Sunday morning after a wonderful breakfast I proceeded to pay the final amount outstanding. Thank you for going the extra mile.

Peaceful and relaxing with very accommodating hosts.
The directions (large and visible signs) made it easy to find the place. We were warmly received and our assigned room smelled of smoke, but we were immediately moved to another room. The living area with the TV made it even more enjoyable. The meal was excellent and the staff helpful. We really enjoyed it and would like to stay there again if we travel. I recommend it with pleasure and without reservation.
We were kindly received and moved into a spacious, clean and comfortable room. In addition, the price range was reasonable. The week ended on a high note.

I would recommend Elegant Lodge, because the rooms are neat and secure parking for your car and the breakfast was a great choice.
Elegant Lodge is the ideal place to sleep on the way to the coast. The three course dinner and breakfast were excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and tidy. The family room is very spacious and was well equipped with everything we needed.

The guest house lives up to its name and is truly elegant and very luxurious. Reception was not very personal and warm but did everything right and even moved us to a room on the ground floor on request. Breakfast was superb and matched the general feeling of elegance.
The cleaners were not cleaning the room and not changing the linen and towels, rather they will pick up dirty towels on the floor and hang them back.
Really enjoyed it and will definitely stay there again in the future.

We were 8 people and they made us feel welcome and comfortable when we arrived, and we really liked the rooms. Everyone said they would stay here again on their way to diving destinations at Sodwana and Ponta do Ouro. We will keep booking Elegant Lodge for our little groups.
The atmosphere at the lodge is very peaceful. The rooms are clean and very tidy. Everything is very well maintained. It was very pleasant to spend the night there. Would recommend to anyone.
