We were very comfortably accommodated in this loft apartment. All our needs were met, including load shedding requirements. The location is superb, not only as a base from which to explore Knysna and its surroundings, but also because it is within a very short walking distance of interesting shops, a variety of restaurants, and recreational activities.

Our host, Eugene, welcomed us personally and even sent us daily updates on specials at the various restaurants. The staff within the complex were friendly, helpful and always visible when help was required. We will most definitely be back.
Everything we needed was there. The apartment was neat, clean and very central. The owner lives nearby and Eugene came to make sure we were satisfied. He also passed on the nearby restaurants' specials every day, in case we were interested.

Some of the furniture needs upgrading as well as the bedding. The unit is well equipped, but the absence of an iron was a tremendous shortfall. Also the unit have a pungent mouldy smell that stuck to everything. We had to wash and air all our clothing that came in contact with the chalet. On arrival back home our youngest son enquired about the mouldy smell when he hugged us; the smell stuck to our hair and skin. Other than the smell and the iron it is a great place to spend your vacation.

Something that needs to be looked at is new bedding as the current linen is not up to scratch.
A beautiful, safe, well-equipped, hyper-clean and tidy unit on the doorstep of the Knysna Waterfront! We were able to park the car upon arrival and walk to everywhere we wanted to be. The complex is also very neat and quiet. The unit is on the first floor and detached, so there are no neighbors on the other side of the wall. We will definitely return to Elegant Quays Waterfront Apartment. We have met very friendly hosts. However, sometimes you meet a host who is an inexhaustible source of useful information about the area, restaurants, and events. And who is also so nice to talk to that it feels like you've known him for years. Eugene was a perfect and humorous host who made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you very much, Eugene, and good luck for the busy season ahead!
The unit is situated in Knysna Quays residential complex. Close to the waterfront and shops. Great value for your money and centrally located in Knysna.
It is very central and you don't even need a car to go out to eat, as the Waterfront is just around the corner, Eugene was very helpful and friendly, I will tell friends of mine too about the place.

We had a great stay. The apartment is well equipped with everything you will need. There is also a light that turns on automatically during loadshedding and WiFi. The shops and restaurants are also all within walking distance. The owner is also very friendly and helpful and if you are looking for rest for your soul this is the place for you.

Prior to arrival the owner of number 16 at the Quays in Knysna made contact and to enquire ETA and upon arrival Mr Eugene Coetzee met us at the apartment and explained everything we needed to know about the unit. He also told us about all the events taking place around the area such as markets and all the local restaurants with their variety of specials. The apartment met all our expectations and the security at the unit and complex was excellent. i would highly recommend the apartment to anyone.
I find the place to stay comfortable and clean, it is also very safe and you can walk to places to eat and shops at any time of the day or night without any sense of danger.
