This spacious and luxurious house is an ideal getaway in the bush near the fifth hole on the golf course and comprises 6 bedrooms (5 private) and 5 bathrooms with baths and showers. The air-conditioned main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, and has an en-suite bathroom with a bath, as well as an outdoor shower in a private garden. The room has a private patio where guests can enjoy their morning coffee and listen to the birdsong. The master bedroom caters for families with young children. An additional room with 2 single beds is adjoining. There is also an additional sofa bed in the master bedroom.
Three of the rooms each contain a king size bed and an en-suite bathroom with an outdoor shower. The fourth bedroom with a queen size bed also has an adjacent bathroom. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, double oven, a microwave, a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the huge solid wooden dining table. A dishwasher, a washing machine, and a tumble-dryer are also available for use. The lounge area has a pool table, a Smart TV, WiFi and Netflix as well as a DVD player and 2 big air conditioners. Gas braai facilities are available inside.
The living area leads to a spacious deck with an built-in heated swimming pool and a big dining table. The boma is ideal for a large bushveld fire and spending time with friends and family. There is a pizza oven and guests can cool off in the pool which has a view of the private watering hole. Guests must please. bring their own firewood and swimming towels, but can pre-order wood for an additional fee. Small pets are only allowed when arranged in advance with the establishment. A cleaning service can be arranged on a daily fee.
A solar power system ensures a stress-free stay even during loadshedding.
Wildlife roams freely on the estate, and guests can partake in various activities ranging from tennis, golfing, mountain biking, bird watching, and game viewing. The clubhouse houses a bar and restaurant for meals and functions, and catering can be arranged for special occasions.

We were a family with small children and the house was perfect for everyone! The warm water in the pool provided hours of fun with the kids and the fact that there is a "backup" power system in the house means you always have power. The house is very comfortable with everything you need! We will be back for sure!

A spacious, beautiful and peaceful house with lovely living areas and everything you need for a nice stay. The woodland offers peace, animals at the watering hole fun and relaxation and the fire pit bliss. Elriena is the friendliest, most helpful and cooperative hostess who acts more like a friend than a landlord. We and friends thoroughly enjoyed the few days in Thys and Elriena's woodland paradise.

The house was warm, family values were evident around the house, house designed for entertaining, room for everyone and we'll sure visit the house in the future. Area to work on: The doors locking system protrude out of the door which is a safety hazard. Please advise owners to check on the doors of the 3 bed wing.

Spacious rooms, bathrooms and living areas. Everything was very nice and clean upon our arrival. I would just suggest that they mention ahead of time that the other bedroom is outside the house. The kitchen is well equipped and we had everything we needed. The wood sales were a big plus as we were traveling from far away and had no more room for extra wood in the car. The little goats that walk by throughout the day had the children in ecstasy.
The moment you open the front door, it feels if you are stepping into another world of luxury and tranquility. The house is beautifully design for a large family and before you can think of something that you will need, its already there. The view is amazing and the veranda is a gem. I can't thank Elanie enough for her hospitality and friendship, she stayed in contact with us from the booking until the end of our stay and she made sure everything that we needed was there. Thank you for making my 60th birthday so very special for me.
The facilities are beautiful and well maintained. The layout of the house is brilliant. There is more than enough of everything. The service is fantastic. There is plenty for children to do. The house is cleaned nicely. We could just relax and enjoy the weekend.

Please note, there is a 10 km gravel road leading to the accommodation which is regularly scraped but sometimes not accessible for vehicles with low-profile tyres or low ground clearance. The road is accessible by hatchback or sedan vehicles, but guests will need to drive slowly. The roads within the establishment are not a problem. Guests should enquire in advance about the condition of the road.
Golf carts are available at the clubhouse. The establishment is happy to help with spa bookings and other excursions.
