Elements Private Golf Reserve Lodge 148 is a luxury self-catering bush lodge situated in the Elements Private Golf Reserve with stunning views of the bushveld and Waterberg. The Peter Matkovich designed golf course has been ranked number 17 of the top 100 courses in South Africa. The clubhouse is located on a rise overlooking the golf course and offers a wonderful view of the course. On the upper level it houses the reception, administrative offices, children's play area, bar, restaurant and main kitchen. On the lower level there are locker rooms, a halfway house, golf pro shop and conference facilities. In addition to the golf and excellent practice facilities, the estate offers mountain bike trails, tennis courts, hiking, game viewing, bird watching, swimming, a spa, conferencing and a comprehensive food and beverage offering. The Elements Golf reserve is home to many natural game species and is also situated close to the bigger nature reserves Mabalingwe and Zebula which offer the chance to see the Big 5 and other wildlife.

Both bedrooms have a private front entrance as well as French doors leading to the deck area which connects to the main patio and living area.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a fridge-freezer, a dishwasher, and a microwave. There is also a separate scullery and guest toilet. The dining area and lounge have air-conditioning, a Morso fireplace and a flat-screen TV with DStv premium. Stacking doors lead onto a covered patio with stunning views into the valley. Outdoor furniture, loungers and a Weber kettle braai are provided. There is a large rim-flow lap pool and an outdoor boma area a few steps away.

5 star accommodation, best pampering place after 18 hours of work, 3 days in a row, definitely visit again.
We had a great stay at the lodge, and the unit was much better in person than the pictures. The service received from the host was excellent, and the willingness to go the extra mile was exceptional. We really enjoyed the space and the time away.
Had a great time. Beautiful location and everything needed is available in the unit. If you don't feel like cooking, you can eat and drink deliciously at the golf clubhouse.

Everything was beautiful, clean and we enjoyed every moment.
An easy drive from Johannesburg takes you into peaceful and relaxing bush, with all the luxury you would want without too much fuss. Loved the way the whole lodge centres around the most magnificent pool! We spent hours on the deck and swimming. Small upkeep needed on breakfast nooks' windows, as well as bedroom doors and poolside umbrella. But nothing that some TLC can't remedy in a jiffy! We will be back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend! Ground road to Elements can be scraped more often.
I can recommend this place with confidence. The weekend felt a bit short, but will definitely be back for a longer period. Even the teenagers were impressed.
Unit is private and has beautiful views. The pool is beautiful (although it was still a bit cold to swim). The owner took good care of us and passed on information.

The lodge is lovely, very comfortable and has everything you need. The pool is the place to be while you are there. Highly recommended.
The house is neat and well-maintained. The linen was clean and the kitchen has a variety of cutlery, but the parking lot is very far from the house and the bedrooms are detached from the kitchen and the living rooms.
The lodge itself was excellent, very clean and neat. The pool is absolutely stunning. The golf course was immaculate. The staff at the clubhouse were very friendly and efficient. Thank you I will definitely be back!
