From the moment we got there everything was perfect. The breakfast was delicious and is served in bed on request. The room was clean and Fish, the host, was friendly and extremely helpful. We can recommend it to everyone and will definitely stay there again in the future!

What a lovely afternoon and evening. Cozy log fire in the main building, with a sherry for the cold days. The rooms are private, with beautiful decor. It would be ideal to stay more than one day as it is such a lovely place. The breakfast is carefully prepared and served, with good quality products. Thanks to Samuel who is an absolute find.
The place is really very beautiful, the view is enough to take your breath away and the people's service and friendliness is definitely something to write home about. Will definitely go back again and if anyone is planning a honeymoon I can say with absolute certainty: this is definitely a place to check out.
There is a nice view and the rooms really have all the amenities. The bathrooms with the Jacuzzi bath and double shower are fantastic. A few negative aspects are the fact that traffic can be heard all day because the lodge is right above the main road to Knysna. There was also a problem with hot water when we wanted to bath.
I would definitely recommend Elephant Hide or Knysna Guest Lodge to anyone. The service was excellent and they made it feel like your own home. The view from the rooms was amazing and it was very private. I would go there again and stay overnight.
The staff were very helpful and accommodating to us.
