It was a great stay. Had to replace the remote aircon batteries in the downstairs room. The cupboard at the top of the stairs was open and had half bottles of shampoos, etc. lying around. It was a wonderful place to stay. The host was absolutely amazing. Thank you, Marriane.

Great spash pool for children. Can feed kudus and warthogs with feed pellets through fence, highlight for children. Close to Crocodile Bridge Gate for day visits in Kruger Park.

There is everything you need. You really only need to bring your own swimming towels. The rest is there. If you have smaller children this is the place for you. The house is closed with palisades, so it is safe. The swimming pool is very nice.

After a very long and at times difficult year, it was wonderful for our family to break away. When we walked into Elephant House it was as if we walked into one of our own homes. The house was fully equipped with everything needed and more. There were enough fans which along with the air conditioning and pool helped to make the hot days and nights very comfortable. There is adequate security in and around the house which was a great reassurance. We could see that the owners care a lot about the place as well as our comfort. We were contacted to see if we were still satisfied and we had the freedom to contact them at any time. When there was a problem with Eskom in Marloth and later a water leak in one of the house's bathrooms, they kept us informed about how the repairs were progressing. The house and yard were big enough for all of us and we could carefree explore the park or just sit on the porch and watch the animals. It was certainly one of the highlights of the year, we are very grateful!
For the whole week there was nothing missing in the house. Als was comfortable and clean. Lovely to be able to relax in the pool and watch the wildlife walking around. Braai place is convenient. Your vehicle is locked and secure. Will definitely go again.

Two large fridges with deepfreezes - great! More than enough space for 8 people with children. Lots of game sightings and visits from wildlife.
Safe for small children, could visit quietly without them being able to go too far. Alarms are a plus for safety!
We love animals and the fact that one can feed them and be so close was an experience.

Enough space for children, the splashpool was a winner. And the extra gas helped a lot during loadshedding. The shops and restaurants are close and affordable.
This is the right place to escape from the noise of the cities, and to enjoy the creation of Jehovah God. It gives you peace and lets you forget about all your stress.

Great with family.
Due to older people living next door permanently, I would not recommend a large family staying there. The people complain terribly about the laughter and chatter of children and people. We were asked to enjoy our board games and family time indoors instead because the people who live next door. We go to Marloth a lot and have never been asked not to laugh and chat. So I would rather recommend that the house is only used for smaller families and not a large group of people. Furthermore, we really enjoyed the night monkeys that made a home there and all the animals that came to visit.
I think we were there on the hottest days this year. It was spacious and all our requirements were met. A lovely setting.

We enjoyed our 6 nights in this spacious house. We had everything we needed and found that it was very easy to access the KNP at Crocodile Bridge.

The house is safe for small children seeing as how it's closed on one side. There was a wide variety of animals in the surrounds and no need for driving around to look for animals. The house is comfortably laid out and has enough bathrooms for large groups. I will definitely recommend this house!

Went as a group of friends. Very clean, comfortable and safe. It has everything you need. Lovely garden and splash pool. Lots of visits from the animals. Just loved the Bush Babies that reside on the property.
We really enjoyed our stay at Elephant House! The hosue was so big and spacious! The absolute bonus was the fence that kept our two year olds safe! We'll really go stay there again!
We were a group of 9 and everyone really enjoyed themselves, from Grandpa and Grandma to the 2-year-old baby. Would recommend Mariaan's place and would not hesitate to stay there again.

It was excellent. Mariaan Vosloo's place was very clean and tidy, there was no shortage of anything. The Elephant House is very neat and clean, everything was in working order. Elephant-House is very well located. Very well equipped and offers pleasant accommodation. However, our time was too short to enjoy everything. I recommend that people stay there at least 5 days.

Elephant-House is one wonderful place to stay. The house is spacious and clean! And every day was another new adventure to see which animal would come to 'visit' us. We had a fanatical time there!

The house is the cleanest I have ever stayed in Marloth, and the owners (Vossie and Mariaan) are the best, there was a problem in Marloth Park regarding water, and the two only calmed down when we confirmed we now have water We have already recommended Elephant-House to a few friends and acquaintances!

A spacious house, with everything we needed - thoroughly enjoyed the 3 days!
We really enjoyed the peace and tranquility. Easily accommodated two families. Well maintained and neat unit. driving distance to Mozambique and Swaziland. Children were excited to see wild animals roam freely around the house.
Wonderful place. Will definitely visit again, but next time for more than just a weekend!

Please note that we are in a residential area and we have a strict no noise policy. Marloth Park is not a party venue. Guests are requested to honour the tranquility of the environment at all times. No parties, loud music/any music, talking loudly, noise are allowed on the premises. We respect the rights of our neighbours. NO SMOKING IN THE HOUSE.Please abide the rules of the house and be aware that should you may continue to transgress them after having been duly warned, you may be evicted from the house without refund of any payments.
A R1000 refundable deposit will be levied. The deposit will only be refunded on condition that the house is left in an acceptable condition, with no damage to the venue, cutlery, crockery, linen and furniture (including dishes).
If the air-conditioning is left on when you not at the house R50.00 per day will be charged and deducted from the deposit.
Guests need to provide their own swimming towels, DStv decoder and smart card.
- A maximum of 8 guests can be accommodated per booking. Should you contravene this arrangement you will be asked to vacate the premises without a refund.
- Swimming towels are not provided – only bath towels, so please bring your own swimming towels.
- The interior of Elephant-House is a smoke free area – please respect this request - no refund if the house smell smoke
- Please take note that no pets are allowed in Marloth Park
