Received a friendly welcome and taken through the room and everything explained to you.
Had a neat room, but price too high. Dinner was nice peasant food but at R245/person excessively high. One of the managers, Christo, is a very pleasant person who made us feel welcome at the dinner.
Had a good stay.

Wonderful peaceful overnight stay.
The reception was very professional, yet friendly and efficient. The room was something special with a distinct African stamp. The meals were of high quality and the service excellent, even during a power outage!
Very nice rooms, with luxurious bed and large bath, towels and slippers - a real treat. The food was "okay" - I don't love oven chips, but the soup was delicious. Breakfast was also well prepared. There is a very nice garden and swimming pool! Think it would be nice to relax in the summer by the pool. A very peaceful atmosphere! A helpful lady on duty and friendly service.
The Lodge is ideally situated close to the southern gate of Addo Park, just off the N2 road. The Sundays river ferry boat is also nearby and well worth a half day excursion.
Location is too near the N2, so it is loud. Breakfast is poor. However, the bedrooms are very nice.
