We had a lighting complaint for a power outage and the process was easy and quick. The personnel were very friendly and very helpful. Pointed out good places to eat and even directed us to the coffee shop that served the most delicious house blend with breakfast.

The guest house is well located and the rooms at the back of the house are quiet. There are a few restaurants within walking distance.
Exceeds our expectations. Large space and modern finishes etc. No air cooling, but the roof fan keeps it pretty cool. Next to the main road, but didn't bother us at all. The entrance is quite challenging if you are dragging something, seeing that it is steeply downhill. We couldn't drive our caravan in and had to park it on the street - long vehicles or vehicles with prams might scrape. Will definitely visit again for an overnight stop. Regards.

The honeymoon room is wonderfully spacious and the king-size bed very comfortable. However, note that the room is between (adjacent to) other rooms and sound travels a lot between the rooms. The rooms are also very close to the road which can get very noisy with large trucks.

Elianthé's Guest House is a beautiful, comfortable place to stay. We were so happy to end up at Room 6. It's in the very back corner. Completely on your own with the beautiful view over the pool and the green garden. The room was tidy, the king-size bed sleeps incredibly well! It was a good rest weekend for us.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, special thanks to Cynthia for the effort she made to make it comfortable for us, will definitely use you again!

Wish we could have stayed longer but only used as overnight stay - nice looking grounds. Would recommend that owner installs vehicle sensor on inside of property so that a guest can leave without the gate remote (we needed to leave by 6:30 the next morning and could not leave without the remote keys which we left in the room after checking out) - had to call the owner early to let us out.

This guest house was lovely. My partner and I stayed over in Swellendam on a Saturday night after a research trip. The room was beautiful, clean and had a lovely bath. Perfect place for a romantic getaway. It's a pity that their breakfast offer wasn't open on Sunday, as this would have been included in the cost.

We had a pleasant stay. Check-in was smooth. The guesthouse is on the main road through Swellendam so there is traffic noise throughout the night. There was a miscommunication regarding our booking as far as breakfast was concerned, but this was quickly resolved.

The rooms are neat and the garden is more than big enough to have fun as a large group. It is also close to everything you would need in town. In the rooms facing the road, the cars that drive by make an awful lot of noise, but this is the only negative aspect of the guest house itself that I can mention.

Elianthe's was perfect for our short stay in Swellendam. Central location, helpful service, everything very clean and well maintained. Peaceful garden. Got a helpful restaurant recommendation. Security grill on the actual room too, which is always my preference compared to having to trust everyone else at a guesthouse not to forget a central security gate.

Our hostess, Elize, received us warmly and immediately made us feel at home. The guest house is very centrally located at the entrance to Swellendam. Very quiet and peaceful, breathtaking garden that is beautifully rounded off by a swimming pool. The rooms are amazing! Equipped with all the necessary accessories, clean and tidy, with even a sweet temptation in the fridge! Our breakfast was tastefully prepared and lip-smackingly delicious. Elize was available at all times and involved with her guests. What more can I say than this guest house is a must if you want to stay overnight in Swellendam.

Nice and cozy B&B. Nice bathroom and bedroom with aircon. It's a shame that everything is already closed at 7 o'clock, because of this you can't use the Honesty Bar and you can't sit in the reception area to use the WiFi. There was no reach in the room. Furthermore, a nice and beautiful B&B.
On the main street, easily accessible. Limited restaurant(s) open in the evening. No good braai facilities. Towels must be replaced please. Do not advertise DStv as full package, show limited channels to visitors. Otherwise it is only a single place to stay if you arrive very late at night.
