Many thanks to Liesl. It was perfect for our quick stopover on the way to Cape Town. Our unit was up with a set of exterior steel stairs, one might just have to mention it on the web page - couldn't tell that anywhere from the photos or web page and it might influence people's decision.
Our only complaint was the bottle of water that the drinking water came from. The bottle can be replaced. He is already a bit old. The water was indeed fresh.

My dogs had a lot of room to play and that was the first aspect I looked at.
We were kindly received and given all the information we needed. Our vehicle was parked overnight in a locked garage. The apartment is nice and spacious. Although the apartment is not the latest, it is very spacious and comfortable. The apartment is reached by a staircase and has a nice sunny deck where you can sit and also has a small braai on it that you can use. Every comfort has been taken care of and everything is immaculately clean. The apartment is also quite centrally located with places to eat quite close.
The guesthouse is definitely not luxurious, but good value for money if you just want to spend the night. Staff are very friendly, bed was good, room warm and great safety for one's car. Location is close to N1 and therefore easy and quick to get to.
The security gate could not close. One heater didn't work and the bathroom is quite cramped, but for the price it was good value for money. Loose wires at TV can be better tightened.
Elior's owners accommodated us on short notice and we were very thankful for that. It's a peaceful, quiet place with the nicest people!

Liesl is very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night on our way from the Cape to Natal. It's not a 5-star hotel but it's clean, comfortable and has everything you need. The shower door is directly in the master bedroom, so if there are 4 people sleeping, just note that everyone shares the same shower. The only toilet also runs from the same room. The two single beds are in the very spacious living area (with its own external door), there is a dining table with 4 chairs, fridge, microwave, two plate stove and all crockery, cutlery, pots and pans etc. The lock up garage is a big plus. Will definitely use Elior again.

When I made the booking I didn't notice the stairs. My mother is afraid of climbing stairs. Our host was very accommodating and let my parents use the stairs that lead from our room to their house. They gave us a key for the doors leading to the inside. We were very happy with the service that we received. The place was tidy and clean.

Just wanted overnight accommodation to travel and see Bloemfontein. Unfortunately, it was a Saturday night and somewhere nearby someone had a party and played music without stop. It carried on the whole night and I was ready to call police, but did not want to get involved. Certainly not the owner's fault but I do not know if there were any such problems before.

I loved the beautiful garden and the original painting on the wall. I have to say the house owners are very friendly and considerate. I had a wonderful time staying in this guest house, the room has two bedrooms with one bathroom and kitchen, it's private and safe. It is close to the airport, the hospital and the Pick n Pay shopping market. It is a five star place to stay in Bloemfontein.

Easy to get. Near shopping center. Easy to get back on N1. Bloemfontein seems to have low water pressure. They can pay attention to it.
Very friendly hostess met us at the gate. Large fridge-freezer to get everything nice and cold again. Delicious cold water in the fridge and purified bottled water for use as well as tea and coffee. Definitely an asset for the long haul.

It is really very basic equipped. TV only has SABC channels. SABC2's reception so poor. I would have liked soap and double ply toilet paper but the price was so reasonable - I guess you get what you pay for? Furthermore, beds were clean and tidy. Hostess very friendly and helpful. It is a good and clean place to stay with hardworking people, who earn a respectable income. If I had to spend more time at my place of residence, I would most likely have to find a more spacious (and more expensive) place. There is a gas station and nice butchery just about 2 blocks from Elior, your vehicle is also locked under cover.

The room is clean, with neat bedding and good mattresses. Liquid soap by the bath and WiFi. Parking is behind a security gate but not covered and clearly visible from the street. The exterior of the house, parking area, patio set and braai need urgent attention.
This is an average place to stay for a quick one night stay. The place needs attention. it will not attract businessmen. The house is far from the town center. The area is not very good.

We stayed in Sunset, the outside apartment. There was everything we needed, including plenty of space. We would stay at Elior Gastehuis again anytime.
The people are very friendly and helpful. There are all the facilities you need even for load shedding. I would easily stay there for a week. The rooms are neat and not overdone so it makes you feel comfortable. There is a private braai area and it is very safe. There is a car gate and the gate opens by itself when you drive OUT. You get your own remote to enter. Pure water is even provided. There is no other guest house in Bloemfontein where I would stay except Elior Guest House because it is close to all the places we need to be. Thanks to Elior Guest House for the nice stay and kindness.

Everything is very clean and in its place, with a lot of attention to small details and items that make one's stay comfortable... whether it is for one night or a week. The location is good and the area quiet and safe.

Elior Guest house was a fab place to stay from start to finish! We stayed for 3 nights and had such a great time. We arrived early on the Friday afternoon and they were so happy to show us our room, so we could start settling in.
The hostesses at Elior really make an effort to make guests feel comfortable.
