David, was the manager. He was extremely friendly and always willing to help. We had a great time staying there and will stay there again.
The area is quiet. Delicious breakfast.
The guesthouse is well located, very neat. We received friendly, good service.
The place is dirty. Cleaners were lounging on the couch in the library/ lounge. The room was not the suite I had booked. Very old. Pillows are disgusting. We went out to dinner and when we came back and I plugged my cellphone in to charge the electricity tripped, never to be seen again. Was hot in the room without the air-con. My partner went with the guy to look at the DB board, that's when he saw the kitchen. We never even had the breakfast as a result. Outside next to the pool was a bin with pizza boxes etc. When we arrived the next morning it was still there. Nobody seems to oversee what is happening there. Really disappointed. It is not worth R700 a person a night.
Nice rooms and the service is adequate. Good location to shops and medical if you have a car.

Address is misleading. Is it 141 or 165? Room wasn't clean. Looks clean. Cracked walls, no coffee, we had to ask for it. No DStv. Handy Andy was "left" in the bathroom. Candy wrappers in the bin. And a piece of paper in one of the drawers. Towel in room was moth-eaten. Old. Peaceful in dining room and at breakfast, one of the cleaners cleans with her cellphone blaring music at full volume.
Staff very friendly throughout - from arrival (greeting me by name) to departure. Comfortable room with nice bed. Maybe just pay attention to faucets at bath and sink - they are loose. Breakfast very nice and the coffee is delicious! Very nice to be able to speak Afrikaans. Location excellent for us. Will stay there again.
