All 3 bedrooms are situated upstairs, 2 of the rooms are furnished with a queen-size bed, while the other bedroom contains a double bed. There is 1 bathroom fitted with a bath, washbasin and a toilet upstairs.
There are 2 beds in the entertainment area downstairs that are suited for 2 children. The entertainment area includes a snooker table and a TV with selected DStv channels. Downstairs, there is another bathroom fitted with a shower.
On the top level, there is a kitchen that is fully equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery. For guests’ convenience, a washing machine and a dishwasher are available. The lounge has comfortable couches as well as a TV. A battery is available for the WiFi and TV during loadshedding. The dining area has ample seating where guests can enjoy their meals together.
There are lovely braai facilities available for guests’ use during their stay. There is also an outside shower to rinse off the sand after a day at the beach. There is a table tennis table and dartboard in the garage. Guests are afforded secure parking on the premises. Please note that the property is not fenced. There are burglar bars on the windows of the lower floor as well as on the kitchen window.

7 guests' feedbackElmarie's attention to the smallest details to make our stay enjoyable was incredible. It's been a very cold week in the Western Cape and phase 6 power outages, but we had everything we needed and more. The downstairs playroom provided hours of fun, especially since we had to be indoors a lot. Our Staffie was just as happy. Thank you Elmarie for the winter under-sheets, fresh pin cushions and biscuits. We would love to come again.
The house is very well equipped with a homely atmosphere. Plenty for all ages to keep busy. Clean, neat. Will book again. Walking distance from beach.
Owners were very helpful and friendly. Facilities were just as advertised. Ideal for any weather conditions. Our family (including dogs) really enjoyed the accommodation and location. Can recommend Ellie Blue anytime.
We had a very nice stay, as a general impression. The communication with Elmarie was very good throughout and this is a big plus. Easy to find Ellie Blue and conveniently located. The method of getting into the house is very good. The alarm system always worked. Big plus. All possible daily household necessities were available, such as plates etc. - one did not have to go and buy anything. Obviously, we didn't have 'loadshedding' with the 'inverter' and what you couldn't do during 'loadshedding', you could do with gas. We didn't actually use the TV, but for people who want it - it was available throughout. People said the price we rent at is very reasonable. There is plenty of parking. Close to the sea and swimming spots. Nice views. Neighbors no problem. Other impressions: We didn't actually use the lower part of the house, apart from the shower and toilet, because upstairs was sufficient for 6 people. The garage door can be opened, has a light and is very handy when you barbecue. A table just inside the garage to put drinks and food on, very convenient. I feel more could be done with the lower part of the house. We only used it as a 2nd bathroom. The upstairs bathroom and toilet do not have a key. I experienced this as very negative - actually unacceptable. Easy to fix. We had a great time and were entertained and would recommend it to others anytime. Thank you and happy 2023.

Elmarie was so accommodating with time of arrival and departure. Very warm and friendly welcome. The house is very spacious, comfortable and was spotlessly clean. We had a great time. Will definitely book Ellie Blue again.
