Elta's Haven now has a battery backup system that can provide electricity for the lights and TV during loadshedding.
The house comprises 5 bedrooms. There are 2 bedrooms with a king-size bed in each, 2 bedrooms with a queen-size bed in each, and another bedroom with a single bed and a bunk bed. Both bath and shower facilities are available.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge, oven and stove, and microwave, and leads into the open-plan lounge with 2 TV's. Additional features include indoor braai facilities, a fireplace and a Jacuzzi. A limited amount of wood to braai is given to guests. The Jacuzzi can be switched on and prepared for guests who are looking for accommodation for longer than 2 nights and involves an extra fee. Guests must note that the Jacuzzi is not in use during June, July and August.

We have visited Eersterivierstrand a couple of times to play golf at Fynbos, but we have never before found such a magnificent home anywhere in the Eastern Cape! Do not waste time looking anywhere else, this home is absolutely perfect! The online pictures do not do it justice; in reality, it is far more breathtaking. Elta has more than adequately catered for virtually every need of even the most fastidious occupant. My family agrees that the luxurious comfort, the attention to detail, both physical and aesthetic, is exceptional and unique. I will definitely be returning. We are all sad to leave the view of the dolphins and whales every morning.
Best location with breathtaking views. We enjoyed the stay so much. Most beautiful view of the sea with dolphins and whales. Activities such as pool, table tennis and darts kept everyone busy when we returned in the evenings after a fun day out. Everything you need is there.
Clear directions and instructions, neat and clean, well equipped, safe and private, beautiful surroundings overlooking the sea - definitely had a nice stay yes!

The accommodation is 5 star and the visit was top notch.
The nicest family home, big enough for everyone to hang out together and also have their own space. The house is very well equipped with everything one would need on a holiday. Most rooms have a view of the sea and the dolphins came to frolic right in front of the house every few days. Elta went out of her way to accommodate our large family and provided a very professional yet personal service. We will go to Elta's Haven again for sure.
Our school's leadership team had a planning weekend on Skuitbaai in Elta's Haven. Hard work, but it felt like vacation with the sea playing around here in front of you. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely knock on Elta's door again. I can highly recommend this lovely place, with the beautiful scenery around.
Staying at Elta's Haven was an amazing holiday for our family over Easter! The house and the location is near perfect and the hospitality we received from Elta was like no other. We enjoyed some good quality time together as a family in a quiet location but lots to do for those who wanted to be a bit more active. Highly recommended.
Beautiful luxury house with a fantastic view of the sea. The children really enjoyed the pool table and table tennis and of course the jacuzzi! Would have loved to stay longer!
Eerste River Beach is more remote than the typical Western Cape beaches and therefore that much more special. The house is extremely luxurious and well maintained. The owner went out of their way to make us feel at home. I would recommend it at all times.

We had an amazing 9-day stay at Elta’s Haven. This exceptional, spacious home is in Skuitbay, Eersterivier. In a security complex. It has beautiful sea views. This beautiful home has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, an open-plan kitchen, fully stocked. There are two big-screen TVs and the living area is huge. The home has an indoor braai area, snooker table/table tennis table, dartboard, board games. There is a lovely Jacuzzi on the patio looking out at the beautiful ocean. There is a 9-hole golf course and clubhouse close by. Really 5-star accommodation. We would love to stay there again.
