The hosts are awesome. We travelled from Cape Town and arrived late, and they were so accommodating. The late night dinner of Karoo lamb chops and salad was scrumptious. The guesthouse facilities are world class and so luxurious. I highly recommend these facilities. Not to mention the breakfast kick-started our wonderful onward journey. I was traveling to the West Coast from Johannesburg. The place is located in a perfect position, right in the middle. It was very cosy and value for money. I enjoyed the lamb chop.

The owners are the most pleasant and friendly people. Lucius called me beforehand and warned me that if the GPS wanted to take me on a dirt road, I shouldn't drive there. Arranged in advance for dinner and Lizette served the most delicious dishes, as well as dessert. Had a wonderful time with them and relaxed. Their guesthouse is an oasis in the Karoo for a weary traveller.

I have been using LekkeSlaap for years. The response to my inquiry was quick. I think this is the first time I have confirmed a reservation and received a courtesy call from the owner right after. The day was 40°C and when I arrived the air conditioning in my room was already on. Lucius also asked if I needed power for the camping fridge in my van. The room, as well as toilet facilities were spotless and tidy and the bed wonderfully comfortable. I would happily stay there again and happily recommend it because of the great service.

Lucius called us immediately after our reservation was finalized and let us experience Elvee's hospitality over the phone by confirming the reservation as well as fixing our preferences for dinner. On our arrival Lucius made us feel right at home by receiving us at the gate and taking us to the secure covered parking and also escorting us to our respective rooms where we were shown where everything was and how it worked and that we should not hesitate to call him should we need anything or perhaps encounter a problem. We met Lizette during dinner. Two beautiful people who made us feel like we had arrived at good friends. We were treated to typical karoo hospitality and the most delicious food, good company and sharp humour. It was nice to sleep over with Lucius and Lizette and we were half late to leave the next morning and will definitely do DV again and can recommend Elvee to friends and family and other travelers with an open mind. Long story short, we were informed that dinner will be before 20:00 and at 19:10 we got called and threatened to be locked out if we do not come for dinner immediately. We did not even stay for breakfast the next morning, as the host wanted to inspect our room in case we stole stuff from there. After the inspection the host did unlock the gate and let us go on our way.
From the moment we arrived it was a warm and friendly welcome. Clean and comfortable rooms that smell delicious. The best mutton tails I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and stop by here if you can.
We only stayed one night at Elvee, were on our way back home after a long "road trip", but what a gem in Vosburg! We were so surprised by the beautiful area, our room was luxurious and dinner was absolutely 5 star quality! Lucius and Lizette made us feel like family and their hospitality will always stay with us! We hope to stop by again and would recommend anyone to stay there or even stay longer than just one night!

As soon as you step in, you are met with Lucius and Lizette's hospitality. Their place is a hidden oasis in the Karoo. If you miss dinner you are doing yourself a disservice. Be sure to try Lucius' mutton tails. Someone who drives past Vosburg and does not enjoy an overnight stay at Elvee is unknowingly missing part of their holiday. We will not stop at another place again when we travel that route. When we left it felt like we were saying goodbye to good friends.

I've toured the Karoo a lot and lived in guest houses, but I have to admit I didn't expect this. There are probably a few guest house owners who can light a candle at Elwee and push the standards up a notch.

Elvee Accommodation is a beautiful, clean and tidy place. Lucius is a great host and his food is top notch. The ribs he prepared for us were breathtaking. The rooms are large and the beds very comfortable. I would really recommend it.
The guesthouse is neat and clean, reception was friendly and the food delicious. We left very early and it was no problem for Lucius to let us out. We would love to stay here again. Thank you very much.
The hospitality of the host and hostess was second to none and I can recommend them with great confidence. We received a delicious dinner and breakfast that was prepared and served with great care. Rooms are neat and well cared for and lovely warm beds tamed the cold winter night. Leave enough time in your itinerary to visit the hostess's beautiful skin and nail care salon.
All expectations were exceeded. We were treated like royalty and when we said goodbye to leave it was almost like saying goodbye to family.
I was blown away when I checked into "Elvee Accommodation". The way I was received was warm and sincere! It is luxurious, tasteful, absolutely clean and tidy! The service was excellent and the meals were top notch. It was freezing cold in Vosburg. I slept in a warm room and in a warm bed. I absolutely recommend "Elvee Accommodation". This is a great stay. We first had to find out where Vosburg was and were completely pleasantly surprised with the quality of the accommodation and hospitality offered. The meals were excellent, far above what is expected from a B&B! The owner could not do enough for us to make our stay enjoyable! A real gem in the Karoo!

We were very kindly received by the couple. The meals were deliciously prepared and very nicely served in their dining room. Calm background music created a nice relaxed atmosphere. Our room and bathroom were well appointed - the bed linen of very good quality, freshly washed and ironed. We were received like old friends and we had a wonderful time with them. We will unreservedly recommend them to our friends and acquaintances.

Accommodation at the guesthouse is provided in 3 stylishly decorated en-suite rooms as well as a separate room called the Garden Room. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with showers. The Garden Room boasts a Victorian bath, however, the toilet is outside the room. The rooms are equipped with TVs with Netflix, fans, electric blankets, and hair dryers. Additionally, Room 1 and the Garden Room have air-conditioning.
Towels, soap and shampoo are provided. Coffee and tea is standard in each unit.
Additional meals are available at an additional fee at the on-site restaurant.
There is a beauty salon on the premises that offer all the latest treatments. Lamelle and Annique treatments and products are available here.
Parking behind a secure gate is provided for guests.
