We really enjoyed our stay in Delphi! After a long day's work at Kragdag, our room was a very welcome sight and we were quickly relaxed. The room was nice clean and spacious, and we had all the necessary facilities to stay there for a weekend. The theme/decor was very tasteful - we were surprised when we opened the doors, the white and mint color scheme presented calmly and very nicely. The hidden kitchenette inside the closet was beautiful and perfectly large enough and equipped with everything we needed. The bed and bedding were very comfortable and clean and we rested well. We didn't miss a television or WiFi at all! Within the yard/property there were many trees and vegetation giving each unit a lot of privacy, we never saw or heard our neighbors, only when we drove past their units. Our hostess was Mia, and she kept us informed the whole time about the "load shedding/load reduction" schedule, where to get extra lights as we were going to need them, even where there were nice places to eat! Thanks to management, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend to family and friends visiting that area in the future.

Very good overnight stay.
Only the inside of the room looks like the photo, but the rest of the place is overgrown with NO maintenance on site. The courtyard of the room is overgrown on the walls and branches push through the security door. The room was clean, but the bed was made up. An outdoor barbecue would be good, but the place is overgrown with little visibility from the parking area to the front door. I had to break branches to walk.

We stayed in Studio Delphi. What a cute studio! The place was very spacious and the bathroom! Wow! Everything we needed was there! We will come back again anytime!

We stayed at Elwanu for one night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was just what we needed: clean and private. The doggies were a lovely surprise in the morning, and the beautiful rusks and fresh milk supplied for our tea and coffee were perfect! I would maybe recommend including some fresh drinking water because we were not sure if the water was fine to drink from the taps. But otherwise, we had exactly what we needed. The only reason I gave 4 stars for security was because we felt it was strange that the gentlemen showing us our room felt the need to point out where the panic button was, as if it should be a concern to us. But we felt safe in any case because we obviously then knew about the panic button, but also all the entrances had security gates. We had a lovely stay overall, and we would definitely go back there and refer friends and family as well! Thanks for your amazing hospitality!

Upon our arrival we were very kindly received, taken to our cottage. I loved our stay, the accommodation was a pleasant surprise, the photos don't do it justice. We stayed in the Delphi cottage and it was a little palace. The bed was very comfy, shower worked well, also had a lovely bath. The room had a small kitchenette which has a fridge, microwave and coffee station. Babette really went out of her way to make the place feel special, she really brought such detail to the place to make it feel comfy. She is also very considerate and gives you ideas of what to do, and when load shedding is happening. There is no Wi-Fi or TV in the room, but this didn't bother us and was communicated upfront.
We have stayed here before, before Covid. The gardens are terribly neglected, and attention can be paid to them.

The apartment was neat and clean. The shower drain was blocked and was reported. Site is tree-rich with plants - very beautiful! Low branches over walkways should only be pruned open as well as climbing plants against walls.

Ease of location because we were there together as friends even though we were checked into the wrong unit and not the one that was available and paid for. Reservation was for the New Bethesda unit and we were placed in a different unit a few cottages from the original place, but the service and facilities and the rooms were all beautiful and I would recommend it to anyone looking for affordable accommodation.

We spent little time at the room as we were in Cullinan for a wedding. The room was clean and tidy, the surroundings peaceful and everything we needed was provided. We were warmly received.

We moved to another unit at the guest house's request - but the unit was definitely less equipped and smaller than the one booked.
At Yesterdays Dream you have to live in the past. Although I was aware in advance that there was no TV, there was also no WiFi, poor cell phone reception and the cheapest in terms of bathroom and kitchen. I turn the shower on and the shower head falls off, can't get it back. At least there were magazines instead of TV, just a shame it was already 2 years old. The vegetation to the paths was not cut. In the evening you walk the "Absalom route", somewhere your hair or your eyes will reluctantly meet the branches. I think the owners do adjust their rates, but not the facilities. I don't expect everything to be modern, but some of the basics are missing here, at the same price as others that offer much better. And I do wish that all self-catering places provided appropriately sized fridges and not the small bar type. And if it is in a warmer climate or in the summer, make sure there is ice in the freezer compartment. Otherwise I have to buy a bag of ice, which doesn't fit in the small fridge anyway. The bed was good. The towels, although past their prime, were clean. I would say: if you get there poo-poo and want to collapse on a bed to sleep immediately and only want to drink coffee the next morning - yes, sleep over, but then a reduced rate.
Babette's directions were very accurate. Yesterdaysdream is well located for a perfect escape from the city. Our place was cute, very well equipped, clean and tidy. The affordable, delicious breakfast exceeded our expectations. The decor in our cottage as well as in the dining room was interesting and tasteful. Yesterdaysdream's gardens have lovely little paths that invite one to wander and find something new at every turn. What a wonderful experience, thank you Babette!
Wonderful guest house. Babette goes out of her way to ensure that you are welcomed and that you have everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible! Would definitely recommend the breakfast - Babette made a breakfast that is fit for a king or a queen. We thoroughly enjoyed it! The garden is a dream and you can easily get lost for a few hours. Every time we walked, we found new treasures to feast our eyes upon. Even the dogs are welcoming - made it a weekend to remember.

We spent one night here. There was enough sleeping space for 10 people. We were accommodated at the last minute to add an extra guest at no additional cost. We were able to attend a wedding reception until late and had our own access to the accommodation without needing to disturb the owner. A neat and convenient destination.
