This delightful family owned cottage, has been tastefully renovated and accommodates 4 adults and an infant. There are 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed and a cot for a baby and an en-suite bathroom with a bath. The second bedroom has a double brass bed, and leads to an en-suite shower.
The generous open-plan living area is sunny and spacious and is furnished with a dining table and 4 chairs, 2 lovely comfortable sofas, a flat-screen TV with Netflix and free fibre Wi-Fi. The well-appointed, compact kitchen includes a Smeg gas stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, double-door fridge and washing machine.
French doors lead onto a deep covered verandah, furnished with stylish, outdoor furniture, and there is a Weber braai and Trade-Wind umbrella for hot summer days. The verandah faces onto the pretty, spacious, indigenous garden where children can play
The cottage is within walking distance of the seafront, the glorious Marine Tidal Pool, Old Harbour, famous Cliff Paths, shops, restaurants and the popular Hermanus Saturday Morning Market. A well-kept children’s playpark is just a short stroll away.
The cottage is eco-friendly and complete with solar geyser, gas stove and well point for garden water and there is good security and on-site parking. Extra house cleaning services are offered on request at an additional fee.

We appreciated the well-appointed kitchen in the heart of the home and the new appliances. The cottage is in Eastcliff which is close to one section of the Cliff Path and in close proximity to the Marine tidal pool and the centre of town. It is a peaceful, safe suburb. We love staying here.
Lovely place to stay! Comfortable beds, nice shower and has all the amenities you need in a good self-catering accommodation. Great area, peaceful and safe, and beautiful garden! Very close to shops and the coast/cliff walk, easy to access restaurants and the whale watching areas. One thing that would have made it more convenient is to have a little bit of milk and soap available. Otherwise 10/10 place.
This little house is very central with shopping centre, restaurants and walking trails close by. It is spacious, well equipped and tidy. We especially liked that we weren't aware of load shedding.
Lovely spacious cottage within walking distance of the boardwalk and restaurants.
Quite pleasant although we couldn't smoke indoors. An outdoor ashtray will help in future.
The cottage is in a quiet, leafy suburb within easy walking distance to the cliff path, market and shops. We enjoyed not having to drive to all the attractions and catching the last of the afternoon sun whilst sitting on the verandah overlooking the pretty garden. The cottage had everything we needed and we were warmly welcomed by our host.
Emilie’s Cottage is in the beautiful tree-lined Eastcliff; it is within walking distance of the shopping area and cliff front, cliff path and offers easy access to Fernkloof and contour path; comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchen for all self-catering needs; a bonus is Netflix available in the house. Gas stove is useful for load shedding - manual lighter for stove was empty so should be checked more frequently. Cottage does not have shower soap/shampoo supplied which is unusual for the price range. During load shedding the lights are not all functional.
Plekkie is located very close to the business center and is very safe.
