10 guests' feedbackEnsure that all lighting/emergency and other is in working order due to material load-shedding issues. Could not find brooms etc. to clean the apartment. The fridge had a very strong smell, which should be attended to. A security notice should be provided so that tenants know where it is unsafe.
Firstly my check in time was from 14:00. I received a call from the owner asking if we can book in at 15:00 due to car problems. I agreed (me being sincere). Check out time was 11:00 ─ cut off time. I received a knock on the door at 9:30 asking if we are ready to leave. The geyser was not switched on whereas I had to call the website's customer service to assist me in this matter.
It was 7 unpleasant nights. The mattress on the bed was broken, springs pierced. There was a dent in it that we had to fill with 2 pillows! I didn't sleep through one night. It was 7 pleasant days. It's a nice apartment with everything you need. You have a nice mountain view, but no sea view! It's close to the beach and restaurants. The safety was incredible. I will definitely go back if the mattress is replaced.
We had a lovely time. Johan was great as well as the apartment, it was clean and equipped with everything we needed. Thanks so much for having us!
The apartment had most necessities. The owner was nice and very approachable. Living room furniture needs upgrading or upholstery. The bed was not comfortable for my needs, but I also accept that not everyone's personal needs can be met. TV channels included KykNET which was a plus. (Slightly available at other facilities.)
We enjoyed our stay but will not go there again in December as the beach was too crowded.
Empire apartment was unbelievably comfy and I'd book again any minute.

Fay has a well organised and efficient system. She accommodated our arrival time in a friendly manner. We felt more like old friends of the family. The apartment was clean and tidy. The furnishings are comfortable.
Our accommodation was nice, I just have one recommendation: In the description of the apartment it says "limited" DStv channel. Unfortunately there were no film of sports channels available.
