When we arrived, the person who received us knew nothing. We couldn't understand either. She then went to call the other lady. After that everything went well. We didn't get the room I booked on the website, but there was nothing wrong with the room. It was then also bigger than the one I booked. Except that the room was set up for just one guest. Towels etc. was only for one guest. We had to ask for extra towel, cup etc.
The place is very spacious and in a quiet environment.
Staff is friendly, area is still and washing machine and tumble dryer was a winner. Could do with some bigger coffee cups and glasses in kitchen.

The room on the outside had full of cockroaches. It was my daughter's but unfortunately, we had to share our bed to accommodate her. The rooms on the inside were fairly clean and huge with great showers and the host was very sweet. Apart from the outside room not to our satisfaction, I recommend the accommodation.
I lost my mom during the devastating covid period and I buried her in East London at Amalinda cemetery so my stay at Enjoy Guest House nearer to where she was buried was like I am connecting to her, I got the inner peace I was looking for for the first time and I cried in a quiet room.
We stayed one night in East London on our way to Cape Town. The guest house was of high quality, but the town's roads were in poor condition. We expected more quality dining along the coast.
The place is very neat, and here and there a little attention can be given to things. The carpet in the bedroom has been burned with an iron, and one can see that it has been like that for some time. If you look out of the window, you see an unsightly garden tool shed. Apart from that we had a very nice stay. The bed was comfortable, the bedding and towels clean, white and tidy. The drivers were very attentive and helpful. My wife forgot her pillow there and the lady called my wife to tell her. Will definitely stay there again.
We booked the entire venue. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitely book here again.
Furniture old and in need of repair and no air conditioning. There is bad parking and poor service.
The staff are fantastic. Driver is the best. Will definitely stay there again.
