Esigodini is a peaceful and comfortable refuge for a relaxing getaway and is the ideal base from which to explore the beauty of the Southern Drakensberg area. The house is situated in a large 20-acre, tree-filled garden with a small dam and stream running through the property. It’s surrounded by rose bushes and a rolling lawn with a commanding view of the Rhino Peak of the Drakensberg escarpment.

Ivy Cottage is the main house which comprises 3 well-appointed bedrooms, a kitchen, a dining room and a lounge area. The main bedroom is an inter-leading family suite, as one room has 2 single beds and the other bedroom has a double bed. The third bedroom also has a double bed. The bathroom is fitted with a bath, toilet, and washbasin.

The lounge area has a combustion fireplace which warms the entire cottage on a chilly day and a lounge suite. The dining room can seat 10 people and the kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas hob, oven, microwave, toaster, basic cutlery and crockery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities.

The two other units, Oak Suite and Willow Hut only consist of bedrooms. Oak Suite has a double room and a separate bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. A few meters away is the Willow Hut which has two single beds.

There’s a braai area with a fire pit that’s ideal for a relaxing night under the stars. The units are serviced and all linen is provided. The bird life on the property is good, making it a lovely place to relax and unwind. There are lots of lovely walks to various pools and waterfalls on the premises. Secure parking is available on the premises.
