Lovely big house between the farms that is serviced every morning. Here's everything and more. We had a wonderful stay. Ideal place for a family or a group looking to get away. Clean and tidy.

We were an older and teenage tour group and really enjoyed the accommodation's space and visiting options. We would like to make some suggestions/recommendations. The towels were clean but a bit old and some were very small for adults. There were also too few drying cloths, and with the rain the two did not get dry after the first dish-washing session. It would be cool if there could be glass wine glasses. The geyser only allows three people hot water at a time, which e.g. made the shower after rugby difficult. There is also very poor light in certain areas, such as e.g. the en-suite shower and at night at the dart board. The house needs some cosmetic attention in general.

A very spacious house with more than enough to keep the family busy with long visits to the braai. In the morning you are greeted with the beauty of the mountains and the singing of birds.
If you don't want to do anything here is the ideal place, just remember to bring dry wood from the Cape and enough lights during load shedding.
The view of the pond, pool and nature was breathtaking. Each room's unique theme was striking. The fresh farm air was a fantastic bonus. The comfort in our weekend home was excellent, even better than at home. Elmare's personal touch in every piece at Esperanza Countryside Accommodation could be clearly seen.
An absolute gem of a find - massive house on a picturesque farm nestled in the mountains. Plenty of space for the whole family with an abundance of activities to keep everyone entertained, including a swimming pool at the front of the house, rolling green lawns, a dam at the back, huge indoor braai, pool table, foosball table, dart board, Wi-Fi and DStv. Fully-equipped kitchen with every amenity possible. Hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Esparanza is everything you need to get away from the rush of everyday life without sacrificing any comforts of home. Here you can breathe, re-charge and leave all your worries behind. We will definitely be back!

The house is big enough to get your own little spot if you want some "me time". The kitchen is very well equipped. Ideal for both smaller children and teenagers, especially as there is more than one play area. The fact that there are three bathrooms, a big plus. Good mattresses and good linen. We could not access the WiFi on any of our devices. A small oversight was that the bedside lamps did not have bulbs in them.

The house was clean and warm. It was equipped with fun activities for everyone. Enough space for a large group of people. Very accommodating and friendly customer service.
The farmhouse has a very large living space suitable for lovely visits with the family. Dam and view is breathtaking. Maintenance is needed here and there, but this does not diminish the good experience. Would definitely recommend for a few nights holiday.
We were 6 adults, a rambunctious three-year-old and 3 dog children who had a wonderful time together in the very spacious house and garden. Beds very clean and tidy and oh, so cuddly. View of the mountains and green meadows incredibly beautiful. Snooker table was very popular and there was even room for a little dancing. Can definitely recommend it.

Love the country setting. Only constructive feedback would be staff jump the fence and walk past windows early morning. Enjoying coffee in bed with curtains open to enjoy surrounding and have people walk past us a little disconcerting. Love that it’s pet friendly. Will stay again. Ducks like the pool as well as humans, so too green to swim.
If I can make the following suggestions: The kitchen does not have enough bowls (salad bowls, serving bowls). Small maintenance, such as some lights that don't work, doors that lack oil etc. I would also suggest adding a long clothesline for wet towels - the drying rack is not sufficient. It is understandable that with a visit to a farm there will be flies, but the flies were a big problem during our visit.
We had a great time. Everything was perfect and will definitely visit again. There was an incredible amount of space and a breathtaking environment. We could not have asked for better accommodation.

We were twelve men on a golf tour and the house was perfectly set up for such a group. Everything was neat, clean and comfortably furnished. Beautiful place. 18 km from town but the tranquility and beauty of the guest house is unbelievably the best.
Myself and my family were in George for high school rugby and even though it was a distance in between, it was absolutely worth it! The kids loved the pool and great open spaces, both indoor and outdoor and the massive indoor braai area is a real joy. Elmare was an awesome host, who assisted us with our every need - thanks again! The place is located outside the town in the farm part, away from any noise, wonderfully quiet. In a word, you experience farm life.

Wow! What a lovely place to visit for a few days. We barbecued, played pool and swam. Saturday to old car show on George. Couldn't wait to get back to the farm after an exhausting day. Everything you want is here. The silence. The 4 cute dogs (obedient and in their place). The accommodation is excellent. Lena, who made sure that our beds were made and the dishes were washed and everything was put back in their places, was very nice. I would like to visit here with my family for a few days. Well done!
