28 guests' feedbackWe really enjoyed the weekend away. The location was great and the surroundings peaceful, the rooms were tasteful, clean and tidy, the restaurant's food was delicious and we were received very hospitably. Esther even sent us clothes that were left behind by courier!

TV/DStv just needs a little help. All the channels get stuck and you can't actually watch anything on them, because the stuck sound is a big annoyance.
They went out of their way to accommodate us with two small children. Extra mattress put in the room. Neat and clean.

We had a family get-together, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Esther's. The food was amazing, and the staff and owners made us so welcome. We would really recommend trying a weekend away at Esther's Country Lodge.

The facility is well maintained and the garden is in an excellent condition. Plenty of birds to observe. The owner and staff were very friendly and made sure one was comfortable at all times.

The rooms are very clean and tidy. Nice warm bedding for cold winter nights. Gardens are well maintained. Nice to go for a walk. The breakfast is excellent. Very good value for money.

We stayed for only a night, but what a great breakaway from the busy life. Loved the morning welcome by the singing of the birds and the fresh air was invigorating! Excellent service and fantastic breakfast to end off our stay. Thank you!
It was really nice to spend the night at Ester's Lodge. Our hostess was extremely nice and the breakfasts very tasty. Only concern is the ants in our room. Black ants, which ended up in our food. The bedding that was used is not for double beds, but they made every effort to make it look beautiful. We stayed there on a Friday and Saturday, and traffic was bad on Friday. Because it is on the main road, it may irritate someone who is sensitive to traffic. We had to get out of the Lodge a few times and come in at funny times. Once was late in the evening after a function, and we had to check a few times to get the security guard's attention - it could cause a problem for the other guests. Second time was early in the morning - my husband had to drive for an appointment, and they couldn't wait to open, which made them almost late for their appointment.
Excellent service especially from Ester's side, she is professional but also very friendly, and her freshly baked bread is a winner so early in the morning.
Ester's Country Lodge is the ideal overnight stay if you are on the road or if you have to attend a conference somewhere. Simple, but clean and efficient. Well appointed in terms of the restaurant with high quality meals. Definitely worth it.
