We treated ourselves to a stay at Evergreen for our 30th wedding anniversary. The staff went out of their way to make it extra special for us. Quite wonderful in every respect, thank you!

The B&B is in a beautiful tree-rich area of Stellenbosch. This is at Stellenbosch residences and at Coetzenburg Stadium and swimming pool. The facilities were very clean and the people were very friendly.
The room was neat, clean and comfortable and ready at check in time. The reception was friendly and informative. We did not eat breakfast as we had other plans.
First, Evergreen expects 100% payment when you arrive - which is not usually the case. Then and inquired about it, I was invited to write a review if I was not happy with the stay, and was assured that the staff take very good care of the guests. I had no problem with the staff. The shower was blocked and I had to get out quickly because the water was running over the edge into the bathroom. There was no hook or place for my shampoo or washcloth anywhere, so I had to hold everything in my hands. There was no hairdryer or tissues or hand cream in the room. The security lock on the door was gone so I could only lock the door with a key which made me feel unsafe. The cement between the tiles in the bathroom had started to brown and the cupboard drawer was broken. There was no mirror near the plug to blow my hair when they brought the hair dryer and I then had to ask for an electric cable extension so I could sit on my bed to look in the closet mirror to blow my hair. However, the next day they moved me to a much better room where I had a very nice stay. The staff were excellent and very helpful.
Comfortable neat units walking distance from the town, Eersterivier walking path, and the botanical gardens.
Evergreen is a beautiful Guest House with extremely professional staff and spotlessly clean rooms. Within walking distance of Restaurants and the campus. The breakfast was exquisite and tasty, but a more interesting menu would have made it even more special. See you next time!

Beautiful old guest house. In beautiful, peaceful surroundings within walking distance of most festival destinations and places to eat. Good service and friendly staff. Delicious breakfasts.
Decor with old school charm, so beautiful. Breakfast was the most delicious omelette I've ever had. Staff friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Central location. Wonderful experience.
