The accommodation was just what any visitor needs. Only the essentials. Many thanks to Anne Marie for all the help. Sorry the time was so short, will definitely come again.
We met friends there and often visited Struisbaai (AGULHAS). It was truly tranquility itself. There are nice places to eat, especially at the port. What was also nice is that we never got lost.
Fagans was very convenient. It has everything we needed. We had a great stay!
The weather was great and we had a great time. No trampling of people. There are enough shops if you need something. Delicious meal at the port!
Place was clean. The lounge set is extended and hollow. The double bed's mattress is yellowed and dirty. The bed breaks your back so uneven and hollow it is.
Made to feel very welcome and friendly. We had a lovely stay in the cottage. Thank you, Annemarie.

There was no hot water Saturday night. It was lovely, nice location nice and close to everything. Was only disappointed that it wasn't fenced, especially since it was pet friendly. Garden a bit neglected.
Good fishing spots. Enough restaurants and shops. Friendly people. Long stretch of beautiful beach.

We did not have to worry about any issues regarding our safe stay at Fagans as the area had a peaceful and safe feel to it.

I would prefer security gate in front of door to lock if we are inside and want to leave door open. No burglar bars in front of windows. The outside, barbecue, around the door area is definitely not up to standard. It's neglected and no privacy at all. Even a wooden lattice partition between the 2 apartments' living areas will help. It was quiet which is a plus. Braai area can definitely improve. Privacy.
I was very disgusted with how the place looked, the dirty furniture cloths, old smelly bedding and curtains, the place was smelling stuffy and mouldy. There was no fresh smell in the place, the lady that waited for us to give the keys had a problem with us parking our bakkie in front of the door, we had to park on the other side by the bedroom window, but yet the people next door parked in front of their door, she had a problem with the radio, said the music was loud and yet you can't even hear the music when you stand outside, but the people on top was talking so loud and swearing, but nothing was said to them, this was the first time we had experience this, but will surely never ever book this place ever again and will tell friend and family also not to book this place, this lady had a lot to say, " do's & dont's", but yet there was no rule book in the place, very disappointing.

It's all right accommodation if you can't find anything else. Room is small, you can't reach the closet. No fan to cool you down at night when it's hot. Pillows are not up to standard and TV only has Open View channels. Just as good as SABC.
Anna-Marie was very helpful and looked after us carefully.
Fagans has a nice old fashioned seaside holiday atmosphere. Well equipped with everything needed. Ideal place for a family holiday. All that was a bit troublesome is that the key had to be collected in Bredasdorp - it was off our route. Didn't know we could arrange to get it locally.

I was surprised because the place looked better than in the pictures. It's just all gas - it bothered me, but that's my personal choice (a bit afraid of gas). But very neat.
Accomodation acceptable, although certain aspects such as burglar bars in front of windows, security gate at the front door, general maintenance and cleanliness outside need attention.
The guest is very unsafe, there is no feeling of welcome.

The environment is peaceful, close to the sea and shops. Everything you can do in Struisbaai can be done in one day.
Comfortable little apartment. The two rooms are just a bit cramped, but for us who were more outside, it was lovely.
Very nice stay, but furniture a bit worn and place needs attention and renovation. The cleanliness of the place was also disappointing. It had been properly cleaned for months, old dust and cobwebs under kitchen cabinets and on top of the fridge etc. Cutlery not clean either. However, the place is spacious enough and one does not feel trapped. Overall a pleasant stay.
Not again, not worth it! The lady was friendly, even had milk on our arrival for our coffee in the fridge. But the rooms were not nicely furnished, the furniture was old and the sofa worn through. One does not feel very comfortable, although everything was clean. Nice bathroom. When arriving at the accommodation rubbish is awaiting you on the very uneven parking place. The chairs on the tiny stoep were dirty and the paint of the table splitting off. I will not recommend this accommodation to anyone.

Decent accommodation. It will help a lot if the shower has walls.
It's not a luxurious place full of novelties, but everything you need is there, and it's neat and clean. They use a septic tank and the hot water cylinder works with gas. It feels semi-primitive to people who are used to the city, but we had no problems with it and you hardly notice it. It's not luxurious at all, but very comfortable, safe and good value for money. We will consider Fagans again if we are ever in Struisbaai again.
It's nice to stay at a place where you don't have to take anything with you. Just yourself and your clothes. Parking may become a problem if all the units are used.
I would not recommend Fagans because the owner entered the unit without our permission when we were not there to apparently retrieve some of her cleaning supplies that she had left there. The shower can't really be used either because it's not closed and the whole bathroom floor gets wet when you shower. Because the house is also basically divided into three apartments, there is not always enough parking.
The place is dirty and untidy. The owners and management should pay more attention to this as the property cannot compete with other places in the same price range.
I would like to respond to the tenant's request that we should have called her in advance before our arrival because she lives in Bredaasdorp. Nowhere in our advance railings was such a mention made. According to her, we were lucky to get her there before she left. We arrived around 14.00 so we would expect someone to be on the premises to provide us with the key and the necessary information. Despite this, our stay was very nice.
Well rested! Ideal place for a family holiday.
