The stay was definitely to our liking.
My stay was amazing, had a great experience and the host is amazing. The only issue was that the pool wasn’t cleaned.
The host was fantastic and friendly. The cottage was quaint. We needed a place to sleep and shower along our journey and this was perfect for our needs.

Apart from the proximity of the highway between Klerksdorp and Potchefstroom, which is quite busy, the place is very neat and well located. If the traffic noise bothers you, then you should keep this in mind. But otherwise we were very happy with the stay, and the unit
Cassie was friendly and helpful. Place was neat, and comfortable and we felt completely safe. We ordered the English breakfast and can honestly say it is value for money. Delicious food!

I was not happy about the condition of the room. Myself and my wife we didn't sleep well on the bed, Bed is old need to be change, couch is old need to be changed, taps has corrosion and they need to be cleaned, lots of spiders inside the room.

Everything is nice, good, tasty and safe at the guesthouse, and Cassy is very helpful and friendly. Stayed and slept well. It's really a nice place to stay with all the amenities one needs to sleep over. I had two minor issues: The carport at Houthuis 1 is too small/low for an SUV, so my car slept under the trees safely. Please make a plan with the DStv. If there is a DStv package in the rooms, I'd like to choose my own channels, not work through the reception ─ then just give me the usual Hotel Bouquet. Thank you!
Situates next N12 and it's a really beautiful establishment with cute springbuck. Friendly staff and affordable.
My next visit to Fair Haven will be with my family. It's a nice relaxing place which comes at a very reasonable price.
We had a very nice stay. The fridge just smelled a bit funny from a long time maybe? Other than that, no complaints.
Very friendly reception - makes an effort to make us feel at home - suitable and tidy overnight accommodation.
Although neat, it is not a comfortable place to stay. The furniture is extremely uncomfortable as well as the bathroom. The traffic makes it almost impossible to sleep. Not a relaxed vibe at all, quite the contrary!
It was better than being home. The gum log is secluded and private and very comfy not to mention the peace & quiet.

Cassy did everything in her power to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We stayed in the log cabin. Very clean and tidy. Secure parking. Good value for money. Lovely mall 3 min from accommodation. Will support her again.
Centrally located in terms the nearest hub (Klerksdorp). Host was super friendly, even when the town was hit with a power outage. She went out of her way to ensure that we were safe, we had hot coffee that she arranged for us and she was just amazing.

The place is reasonable priced, clean and safe. The staff is friendly and helpful. Try it you will love it!
The accommodation was very clean and neat. The furniture was very old and especially the beds were lumpy and made a noise every time I moved. Reception was a bit confusing and it took long to check in, despite the fact that we were in a hurry. The accommodation is also next to the N12, which is convenient for overnight guests, but can be a bother for light sleepers.
This guesthouse is not what is shown or promised on the website! Firstly we booked 4 rooms/units. The unit with the interlinked door was quite nice but there wasn't enough plugs to use the TV and the Fridge. We had to buy a double plug to use both together. The third unit was so small, if you want to change your mind you need to go outside. The bedding wasn't very clean. The fourth unit was far away from the other 3 units — basically on the "pavement". There is no security at that unit. No safety gates on the door of burglar bars on the windows. There is no DStv — decoder not even installed. The TV channels 1 to etv was so blurry you can't even watch that. The shower is no shower — it is a hand held straight bar, can't even tilt the head to wash your hair. Wash yourself like a car wash — rinse yourself, wash and rinse again. Then the caretaker/owner just walks in your unit without any consent and move stuff around. Unplug the fridges with our cooldrinks inside. Switch off our aircons we left on to cool the room so we could dress for a wedding - 38° outside! I or any of my family or friends will never use Fairhaven Guesthouse again. I would recommend that this guesthouse is removed from all the accommodation lists. Definitely not worth the money.
They can improve on the old lumpy pillows and bedding. I was not aware that I had to climb stairs and I have knee problems. The toilet's water was running continuously while we were going to a function. We were notified by SMS that the tank was empty.
We only stayed one night, but it was very nice.
I will not recommend people. I was disappointed with what was presented in pictures and what was found there. Basics are there and that's it!
It's just a real shame that no one warns you that you're almost sleeping in the middle of the highway with its heavy trucks!
