Fairview is a beautiful home. The place is clean and tidy, and the furniture and decor are very stylish. The biggest treat is the lovely porch with built-in braai and comfortable patio furniture where you can hang out and hear the sea. Although there is no sea view from the veranda, Fairview is walking distance from the main beach. The kitchen is equipped with everything one would need. The owner was very friendly and helpful in making our stay as comfortable as possible. The back garden is perfect and safe for pets (the beautiful front garden too, if they are small and can't jump over the short wall). I can highly recommend Fairview and will definitely want to stay there again when we are in Yzerfontein again.
We had a very nice stay.
The host was amazing - friendly, accommodating, helpful. There was a dishwasher and washing machine that were not listed. A few small electrical kitchen items that you wouldn't normally find at self-catering places were quite useful. Detergents and cleaning essentials, which are normally available in small quantities, were in excess. All the comforts of home while truly feeling like you are on a beach vacation. Definitely going back there. Pity it doesn't accommodate more people - I would take my family and friends there anytime!
Fairview in Yzerfontein was our festive season holiday home for 2 weeks. Awesome house, close to everything. The host was super friendly. The house had everything one could hope for and a great layout.
The sea is good for my soul.
The house was clean and tidy. Very modern with everything you need. Slept like a dream on the soft beds. Lovely porch for morning coffee visits and evening braai. Walking distance from the sea. WiFi for the kids was a winner. A bonus was that we could take our two yorkies with us. They could walk around the garden safely. The area is wonderfully quiet, yet close enough to the shops if you need anything. Lula's also close enough for a nice pizza! Our host also regularly made sure we didn't lack anything and was always friendly and helpful, thank you very much! We would definitely recommend the place to anyone!
Nice holiday home with all the amenities, close to the sea, nice breakfast nooks and something for everyone small shops. Absolute clean facilities and fresh linen was a winner.

We have lived in several holiday accommodation places, but Fairview has definitely been the nicest place we have stayed. The house itself is well equipped, it's beautiful, and walking distance to the beach. We felt like we were staying in a 5 star hotel. We will definitely return again as soon as we can. We extended our stay as we just didn't feel up to it. My favorite is the sunset from the porch, the very nice bed in the master bedroom, the daybed, the nice barbecue area, the nice space on the porch and in the house, the clothesline for wet towels outside and the nice safe back area. The garden with all the beautiful birds. The kids loved the Netflix in the evenings when it was cold.
