In the morning, we were served a delicious breakfast on time by a friendly young lady. Everything was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.
Great stay, staff went out of their way to make the stay pleasant.
This was terrible. We actually packed and left after one night out of the three booked. The security was poor or non-existent as the electric fence was damaged in various places, and the entrance gate was jammed open (we assume it wasn't working). The unit we were in only had a settee for sitting, and it was absolutely soaking wet. The only window we had looked onto the kitchen yard. The outside eating area was enclosed with an 8-foot wall. No view whatsoever. The TV system didn't work at all.
Upon our arrival we were greeted by Thembi. She gave us an option whether we wanted to stay on the 1st floor or ground floor. We decided for the 1st floor. After unlocking the room we could only find fault. The floors in the room and bathroom were full of dust and leaves. The smell of smoke especially in the bathroom was overwhelming. The bathtub was full of hair. There was a cockroach in the shower. The drain container in the shower is missing. The towel rails in the bathroom were all broken. The tiles in the room are all broken. There is one roof tile (on the ceiling - glued tile) that is broken. Don't know if it might be bats or rats, but both nights all night there is a noise in the roof. The only positive thing is that the breakfast was delicious. Will we be staying at Falling Waters again? Definitely not!
Terrible parking. Scruffy. Staff not wearing masks. Noisy air-conditioner. Cupboards smelled of mould. One of the bath towels had a large, fresh cigarette burn in it. One of the two showers did not work. And they gave me garlic in my breakfast, despite my listing it as a major allergy, and asking the kitchen staff to make sure that there was no garlic in the food. I booked out a day early to get away from this bad experience. Dreadful.
Waiting for breakfast for more than 30 minutes is a bit too much, a buffet might make a good difference. Also three days without warm water in bathrooms was also unacceptable.
Very nice stay, maybe just need to replace mattress. But breakfast is delicious and with the uncle and aunt there the atmosphere is very homely.
Quiet place to stay with good breakfast included. Falling Waters is definitely nicer and cleaner than surrounding places and is a pleasure to stay at. The price for the place to stay was also definitely very good.
Room was clean and tidy. Sorry about the smoke smell. The security light in the hallway that turns on and off when someone moves is very disturbing. Unfortunately, the municipal water supply was interrupted. Falling Waters Guest Lodge should consider putting up a tank for guests to shower and use toilets.
Requested to use Jacuzzi 5 times but was ignored and lied too. Requested additional toast but never received it. Towels in bedroom were torn. Had to request to be changed. Poor customer service.
The Worst experience of my entire life. Inconsiderate management. Guests making a racket after 22:00 and manager tells owner over the phone that he is willing to sacrifice two other guests happiness over 24 noisy guests. Had to call owner in Joburg to get manager on site who was out partying with friends. Now he wants to apologise and assist. Swimming pool empty and not sealed off for no entry. No working Jacuzzi. Intercom at gate does not work (maybe because there is no manager on site) and upon entry I had to phone 3 numbers to get someone to open for us. I will never stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were cleaned to perfection every day. The facilities are very modern and comfortable. The sea view from the roof was great. Braai and swimming facilities was great. Would definitely recommend to anybody. Breakfast every morning was very good and enjoyable.
We were warmly welcomed and taken care of during our stay. Ta Moira and Uncle Conrad were really great! Breakfast is delicious and served fresh. We could barbecue and the pool is crystal clear. The ground units have direct access to the swimming pool and braai area. Beach within walking distance. There is just no handicap accessibility at all.
The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a pleasant and relaxing stay.
I must say I was satisfied with my stay at Falling Waters Guest Lodge, the staff were so friendly, the room was remarkable, everything was just perfect, and must say the birthday boy was impressed with everything, but must say they have to improve with the breakfast. My partner and I don't eat pork so we ddn't have an exceptional breakfast. As a friend of mine suggested this place, other than that we were happy and will definitely be going back. Thanks Moore for arranging the cake for me. You a God send!

Only criticism is that breakfast is really bad and not tasty. They definitely have to try harder with that for the price we paid to stay there.
