The hosts, Taletha and Mike, who live on the property in a separate apartment, are there to welcome you and ensure your stay is comfortable, relaxed and carefree.
Accommodation is offered in 2 separate units, each with its own entrance and access to the terrace. The larger unit comprises an open-plan living room with a kitchen, 2 double en-suite bedrooms, and a TV Room which can also be used as an extra bedroom. The smaller unit comprises a double bedroom, a kitchenette, a full bathroom, and a guest toilet. The bedroom opens onto a covered verandah which leads onto the terrace.
Each unit is equipped with Wi-Fi, a fridge, oven and stove, microwave, and a TV with basic DStv channels. General facilities include a dishwasher, and ironing equipment. Parking is provided on the premises in the shade of 4 ancient Milkwood trees. The house is also available as an exclusive unit, ideal for a family or group.
Just 1 km away is Wilderness Village, where there is a Mini Market, laundromat, post office, pharmacy, Information Bureau, and numerous small shops. There are also a variety of restaurants to choose from. The Garden Route Mall is 9 km away. Here you will find a supermarket, plenty of shops, banks, cinemas, and restaurants. The closest airport is George Airport, which is 23 km away.

12 guests' feedbackWe and our dachshunds couldn't have asked for more. It's safely fenced for the dogs, and you're on the beach when you open the gate. The house is cold (it's winter), but every room has a heater, and there are more than enough blankets. And the sea view is amazing. Talita is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go again.
The team was amazing. They did all they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
My wife and I spent four days at Far Niente with my parents, and it was wonderful. The house is located right on the beach, which meant we were able to go for a lovely stroll every day. We had dogs, so the closed garden worked well. The local hosts, Mike and Taletha, looked after us well and made check-in easy. I look forward to my next stay!

Friendly reception, very neat and clean, but the view is the very best! They might consider upgrading the DSTv package, especially for the cold rainy days you at least want to watch a movie or sport.

Great location, near shops and restaurants and the views on the sea from the apartment is awesome. She was a good hostess, helpful and friendly.
Only negative was that the lighting in the unit could be improved, all the rooms are quite dark, but the location is great, just down the steps to the beach, and you can also walk to the shops. The absolute plus is that it is pet friendly, and worked well with a nice lawn in front of the unit and well fenced.
We had a super time at Far Niente. The location is first prize, literally right on the beach, which was great for taking long walks with the dogs or just lazing on the patio watching the world go by. It is a place we would happily return to as everything was as expected with great hosts.
What a view! We had everything we needed and Taletha was very helpful and friendly!
Beautifully renovated house built in 1933 with two units sleeping 4 people. Comfortable accommodation right on the beach Pet friendly which is a plus. Wonderful hosts. Loved our stay.
